A half-fae heroine is trying to save her inn while her fae father threatens to sell, and she bargains with a fae journalist who needs her as a source. It is sweet, small-town cozy fantasy energy, and if you like that gentle magical-romcom lane, this clicks hard.

A Spell for Heartsickness by Alistair Reeves

If you want MM romantic fantasy with emotional depth, start with A Spell for Heart Sickness. A witch hero is dying from a wasting curse and ends up on a remote island chasing a prophecy. There’s grief, healing, a murdery ghost roommate situation, and two possible destiny men. It is cozy and emotional without being flimsy.
