Looking to have your

Book Featured?

We are thrilled that you want to work with us in reviewing and considering your book for coverage.

Before we go any further

A few things to keep in mind

We no longer post full reviews

Under the Covers Book Blog will not be posting full book reviews on the blog. Our extensive library of book reviews will slowly be added to GoodReads and/or Storygraph and new reviews will be posted there as well.

Book Coverage around release

We post our content ahead of time generally 2-3 months. If you would like your book featured for a March release, relevant posts will probably go live around December. So be sure to submit your requests in advance. Especially if you’re writing a book that is quite seasonal in feel.

We read just about everything

Under the Covers Book Blog reads Paranormal Romance, Historical Romance, Contemporary Romance, Romantic Suspense and Erotic Romance, Dark Romance, Sci Fi Romance, LGBTQIA+ Romance, Fantasy Romance, as well as genres outside of romance including: Science Fiction, Urban Fantasy, Fantasy, Horror, Young Adult Contemporary, Young Adult Fantasy, Young Adult Historical, Womenโ€™s Fiction, Historical Fiction and Chick Lit. We do not, however, read non-fiction.

Frequently Asked

Full reviews will be posted on platforms such as Netgalley and GoodReads, but not on the blog. If we recommend the book we may choose to featured the book on our social media accounts and on appropriate lists and roundups. We do not post reviews on Amazon.

Under the Covers Book Blog is open to do author and reader interviews, guest posts, podcast interviews and/or contests and giveaways. However, these are usually scheduled via invites. We donโ€™t accept requests for guest posts.

Due to our load and scheduling, we cannot accept most requests. Requests that are sent in two or three months ahead of release are much more likely to be accepted. And due to the amount of requests that come in, we can only reply to the ones that are approved.  If you have not heard back from us within a month of submitting your request, chances are it did not get approved.

We are able to accept print (depending who is reviewing it’ll be a US or UK mailing address) as well as digital copies of books. In regards to digital books, we prefer EPUB but a PDF is also fine. This can be sent to us via BookFunnel, directly to our email or directly to Kindle. Please ask for details on this if you plan on sending this way. A digital download code for an audiobook. We also accept books via Netgalley and Edelweiss, just ask us for our registered email with these accounts, if you want to send a book that way.

Absolutely! We love to feature a variety of books and whether you are self publishing, working with a big traditional publisher or a small press has no impact on our consideration.

We work with major and small press publishers on their upcoming titles. However, if you have a book being published with them and want to submit it here anyway, you are welcome to do so.

We work with a select and limited number of Tour and Promo companies. However, we no longer join standard tours. If you want us to cover a book that you are working on a tour for, you can reach out with the specific ideas of what you are looking for to work with us. Publicists and tour hosts beware. If you add us to your mailing lists without an introduction email first, and without our approval, we wonโ€™t work with you at all.

Are you ready?

Let’s feature you!

You understand that submitting the form below does not guarantee coverage. If your request is approved we will get in touch with you with further details on how to proceed or any additional questions to clarify.
