Grab a brew with the Donovan Family by Victoria Dahl
It’s time to introduce you to the Donovan Family. The first book in the series was published way back in 2011, so this may be the first time you have seen it pop up. Or perhaps you have know it better as the Donovan Brothers Brewery series. Which, makes sense as it’s a contemporary romance series based on three siblings who own a brewery. authors that I always enjoy because she writes smart, sexy and fun romances. I have to admit over the past few years I haven’t read many of her books and I definitely need to rectify that.
Victoria Dahl does an excellent job as writing romances that are not only a lot of fun, but sexy and smart as well. This is why I wanted to highlight this series, as I know you will love it. And if you are in the mood for these tropes, make sure you give the Donovan Family series a try:
- spicy read
- detective hero
- mistaken identity
- tortured hero

Good Girls Don’t
by Victoria Dahl
“You’re walking around here with a smile on your face, Asher. It’s freaking everybody out.”
Tessa Donovan is a fun loving heroine you’ll fall in love with. She torments her brothers and wants to do her job at their family Brewery right. When there’s an incident and someone breaks into the Brewery that’s where Luke comes in. Small town cop and tortured hero, who doesn’t think sweet Tessa is a good fit for his bad self. But Tessa is just the right kind of girl to make him putty in her hands. This one is fun and don’t let the covers fool you, it’s also steamy!
With her long ponytail and sparkling green eyes, Tessa Donovan looks more like the girlnext door than a businesswoman—or a heartbreaker. Which may explain why Detective LukeAsher barely notices her when he arrives to investigate a break-in at her family’sbrewery. He’s got his own problems—starting with the fact that his partner, Simone, ispregnant and everyone thinks he’s the father.
Tessa has her hands full, too. Her brother’s playboy ways may be threatening the business, and the tension could tear her tight-knit family apart. In fact, the only thing that could unite the Donovan boys is seeing a man come after their “baby” sister. Especially a manlike Luke Asher. But Tessa sees past the rumors to the man beneath. He’s not who people think he is—and neither is she.

Bad Boys Do
by Victoria dahl
“Do you have a French maid outfit just lying around?”
“No, it’s pressed and neatly folded.” He stood, picking her up as she threw her arms around his neck with a shriek. “Shhh. I’m just trying to liven up this boring sex for you.”
Yes, bad boy Jamie. The newest edition of this book also contains a bonus prequel story for the series. Jamie works as the bartender at the Brewery and his thing is to wear a kilt while doing it. He’s the black sheep of the family and the public face of the company. His reputation always precedes him.
So when he meets Olivia while she’s in for her book club meeting, he has to fight against that reputation if he wants to be seen as someone she can have a serious relationship with. Olivia is divorced and she ends up as the teacher on a class that Jamie is taking which allows her to see a side of him that he doesn’t often show others. But lets not forget the fact that Jamie is sex on a stick, right? This book is another fun and sexy one!
Olivia Bishop is no fun. That’s what her ex-husband said. And that’s what her smart boband glasses imply. So with her trademark determination, Olivia sets out to remake herlife. She’s going to spend time with her girlfriends and not throw it all away on someman. But when an outing with her book club leads her to a brewery taproom, the dark-hairedbeauty realizes that trouble—in the form of sexy Jamie Donovan—may be too tempting toavoid.
Jamie Donovan doesn’t mean to be bad. Sure, the wild streak in his wicked green eyes has lured the ladies before. Now it’s time to grow up. He’s even ready for a serious romance. But how can that be when Olivia, the only right woman he has ever met, already has him pegged as wrong?

Real Men Will
by victoria dahl
“He thought she was nothing more than a walking, talking sexual adventure. The irony of it was like a dull knife in her heart. She’d been real with him. For once, she’d been a real person in bed.”
Here comes the book about the stick in the mud brother. By the time you get to this point you will hate him as he’s he’s acted like a judgmental ass. But have faith and give it time. Don’t be fooled by the khakis and polo shirts because the boy can be sexy, especially when it comes to the woman he has his sights on. A one night stand and case of mistaken identity really made this one memorable.
It was meant to be a one-night stand. A single night of passion. Scorching hot. ThenBeth Cantrell and Eric Donovan were supposed to go their separate ways. That’s the onlyreason Eric let her think he was really his wild younger brother, hiding his identity asthe conservative Donovan. The “good one.”
But passion has its own logic, and Eric finds he can’t forget the curvy beauty withwhom he shared a night of lust. When Beth discovers that Eric lied, however, she knows hecan’t be trusted. Her mind tells her to forget the intense stranger who brought her somuch pleasure. If only every fiber of her being didn’t burn to call him back.
