Giveaways
Under the Covers Book Blog offers some giveaways from time to time. Sometimes these are entered by posting on your social media accounts and using a hashtag. We don’t collect any personal information by you entering the giveaways as the entries are on your social media account.
Some giveaways are sponsored by a third party (publisher). When this is the case it will be stated in the giveaway so you are aware before entering. We will share the winner(s) information only with the third party, not all entries. This will be for the purpose of delivering the prize.
If you are a winner, you will be first contacted via the social media account you used to enter and then we will ask you for further personal information such as a mailing address so we can send you the prize. Once you have confirmed you have received your prize or after 3 months has passed whichever is first, this information will be deleted.
By entering the giveaways you are giving Under the Covers Book Blog or when applicable the third party consent to contact you only as described above.
We collect your personal information on your consent and it will be used solely for the purposes of the giveaway. Your information will never be sold, rented or shared with any other third party. The service we use to collect your personal details once you’ve won a giveaway is through our account with Notion. You can see their Privacy Policy here.
If you wish to have your details deleted before the time frame stated above, please contact us at underthecoversbookblog@gmail.com with the subject line: Delete Giveaway Data.

Affiliate links
When clicking on affiliate links (book recommendations, for example) this will redirect you off Under the Covers Book Blog to a vendor – for example Amazon.com, iBooks. If you purchase a product from the vendor, this will result in Under the Covers Book Blog getting a small commission with any of those vendors or Reward Style LTK. We occasionally also have sponsored content or specific promotions we participate in to promote products and/or services that we believe in and that would be of interest to our audience. In all of these cases, this is clearly marked at the beginning of the post, so you are aware that when you click on a product and make a purchase, we will receive a small commission.
All purchases are anonymous and although we can view what has been purchased in a given time period, we cannot see who purchased it, nor do we store this information on our servers. The vendor keeps all the data and all personal details anonymous from Under the Covers Book Blog.
