Back when I started blogging, keeping up with new book releases meant clicking through publisher catalogs and half-baked Goodreads lists. So I started making my own calendar, first for myself, then here on Under the Covers for anyone else who was tired of missing pub dates.

That calendar’s evolved, but it’s still here. Updated constantly, always current, and focused on what’s worth your time.

This is not a “scroll forever and lose your mind” situation. Use the filters. That is the whole point.

Here’s the fastest way to find what you want:

• Filter by month if you’re planning your reading calendar or building your monthly TBR.
• Filter by genre when you know what lane you’re in (romance, romantasy, fantasy, thriller, mystery, and more).
• Filter by tropes, character types, and settings when you’re in a specific mood (fake dating, small town, workplace, morally gray, found family, you get it).
• Use the search bar to jump straight to an author or title.
• The books are already sorted by release date to see what’s coming next.

This database is built for readers who want to keep up with upcoming book releases without doing detective work on 14 different sites.

What you can expect:

• A mix of buzzy and under-the-radar titles, depending on what’s been announced and what’s been added
• All sub-genres of romance but also outside of romance. Thrillers, horror, cozy mystery, historical fiction, women’s fiction, fantasy, sci fi, young adult, and more.

A quick reality check: release dates change. Publishing schedules shift. Sometimes they vanish and reappear like nothing happened. When dates change (or details update), this database gets updated when we see the change. If you spot a date that moved or a title that’s missing, leave a comment or reach out on our Instagram.

This database is updated on an ongoing basis as new titles are announced or we find them and as pub dates shift. Basically weekly. To keep it clean and useful, I also do bigger refreshes a few times a year:

• removing duplicates
• fixing moved release dates
• tightening tags so filters stay accurate
• adding new trope and setting tags
