The Hathaways by Lisa Kleypas
How you know you are a humongous Lisa Klepas fan:
(1) Reread all her books obsessvly avidly;
(2) Have daydreamed about all her heroes;
(3) Have a fangirl scream-dance release day routine perfected.
We have all the above ticked off and feel no shame, and although we can no longer do (3) for the Hathaways as it is a complete series, number (1) and (2) are still going strong (especially (2)) Like all LK’s romances the Hathaway series is well written, funny and romantic, reading each one is like meeting up with your friends and family and settling in to watch the romance blossom.

I’m with Aly. I’ve read a couple of her contemps but gave up after that. I don’t think I will read any more of her work unless it’s a historical.
Plus, Some of her historicals have Paul Marron on the stepbacks but not the contemps.
Hello! I really love the way you have reviewed the ‘Hathaway series’. You literally make me want to read them again. Lisa Kleypas is my favorite author and I miss all the characters in it. I am definitely ticking all the box above and indeed I have no shame in telling that I am a fan of her books. However, it is sad that she has not continued to write the Hathaway. It would have been so awesome if she continued this series. Maybe we would have had the story of their children. However, when I think about it I am also happy as well that the Hathaway series is now over as who knows maybe the way we are feeling about the book would have changed. You know what I really like about Lisa Kleypas like she has written this series in such a way that you will never get tired of it. In your review you did not mention the metaphor that Beatrix uses to describe each character. Beatrix who is an animal lover uses animal to describe the personalities of the people. For instance, Poppy is a rabbit, Catherine is a hedgehog, Amelia is hen, Beatrix is a ferret and Harry is a cat. I find this fun and creative that someone’s personality can be compared to an animal.
