2025 Fall Paranormal Romance Books You’ll Be Spellbound By
Some people wait all year for pumpkin spice lattes. Me, I am of those people, and always in the mood to read fall books. Because there is nothing like a witchy, slightly spooky love story set against a backdrop of crimson leaves, haunted mansions, cursed towns, and second chances.
This year’s lineup of 2025 fall paranormal romance books is giving us haunted hotels, talking teacups, cursed reality shows, and vampire road trips. From light and quirky to dark and magical, these are the spellbound stories we’re stacking on our TBRs and forcing into our friends’ hands. That’s you my friend!

2025 Fall Paranormal Romance Books
Here’s your essential reading guide for 2025 fall paranormal romance books. Don’t forget to ward your WiFi, these witches and vampires are chaotic.

Never Been Witched by Molly Harper
Alice Seastairs has the most unique resume. She’s an antiques expert, witch, part-time ghost wrangler, and she’s about to add “consultant for a definitely-haunted hotel” to the list. Collin Bancroft, the wealthy owner with annoyingly good manners, is counting on her to clear out the Duchess Hotel’s less-than-welcome residents before reopening. Easy, right? Except there’s a powerful magical family gunning for her coven, a manipulative grandmother on her case, and an ex who just won’t stay gone. It’s cozy and funny with just enough danger to keep you reading past your bedtime.

Love’s a Witch by Tricia O’Malley
This one is my most anticipated read on this list! If Charmed and The Pumpkin Spice Café had a lovechild, it would be this. Sloane MacGregor did not plan to spend her twenty-fifth birthday in Briarhaven, the day her magic officially arrives, but the family curse had other ideas. Now she’s back in her small Scottish hometown, dodging her well-meaning sisters, and locking horns with Knox, the grumpy mayor who clearly thinks she’s about to turn the place into a magical disaster zone. First in The Scottish Charm series, this one’s equal parts small-town coziness and hex-breaking drama.

Mate by Ali Hazelwood
Serena’s a one-of-a-kind human-were hybrid and suddenly a target. Koen, the alpha who could bench press the moon, just won “most intimidating mate energy.” Now they’re thrown into a whole supernatural power struggle where saving each other might mean survival. If you’re here for brains, beasts, and fated mates energy, this hit-your-fall-TBR mega-list.

Uncharmed by Lucy Jane Wood
This might be the most “perfect witch falls apart and finds herself” book we’ve ever seen. Andromeda “Annie” Wildwood’s reputation as the perfect witch is hanging by a thread. When she’s sent to mentor a rebellious teen in a run-down cabin, things get complicated fast when the cabin’s gruff owner comes home to find Annie and her “intern” have taken over. Forced proximity, found family, and the quiet undoing of a lifelong people-pleaser make this a slower, gentler kind of magic. It’s a little bit Gilmore Girls, a little bit Practical Magic, and totally irresistible.

Head Witch in Charge by Avery Flynn
Married enemies-to-lovers but make it witchy. Leona Sherwood is a responsible witch, thank you very much. Which is why it’s really inconvenient that she drunkenly married the heir of her family’s biggest rival and now has to go on a magical road trip with him to return an ancient spell book before the council loses its mind. Along the way: trolls, nymphs, satyrs, and one very obvious problem, they might still like each other. It’s laugh-out-loud funny, full of hijinks and you still sneaking in an emotional punch.

The Witching Moon Manor by Stacy Sivinski
The Quigley sisters are back in their cozy Chicago tearoom, but fate’s brewing more than Earl Grey. Anne’s leadership is wobbling, Beatrix has lost her storytelling spark, Violet’s recovering from a circus mishap—and now a snarky necromancer might be the key to saving the city. It’s warm, witchy, and full of sisterly chaos, perfect for when you want a fall read that feels like coming home (with a side of magic).

Road Trip with a Vampire by Jenna Levine
Zelda thought she’d left vampires, and their drama, behind when she moved to sunny California. Then Peter shows up: tall, broody, yoga shorts, zero memory, and fangs. One cryptic journal and a plea from an old friend later, they’re in a car together chasing his past across the country. This paranormal romcom has just the right amount of bite for a fall and the perfect binge.

The Fang Arrangement by Sarah Blue
Witch x vampire forced alliance? Check. Manipulative magical politics? Yep. Unavoidable tension and teeth? Absolutely. One bad date with a wolf shifter, one murder accusation, and now she’s magically bound to Warin Auclair, Louisiana’s most manipulative, infuriatingly hot vampire. Being his on-call witch was supposed to be a nightmare, but between vampire slayers, dangerous secrets, and Warin’s relentless protection, the lines start to blur. I just read my first Sarah Blue earlier this year and I liked how fun it was.

Witch You Would by Lia Amador
Penelope’s broke, stuck selling magic trinkets, and now her one shot at fixing her life is winning a spellcasting reality show… with Leandro freaking Presto. The guy’s basically a walking blooper reel in a cape. What she doesn’t know? Leandro is actually Gil, her pen pal crush, undercover to save his grandpa’s charity. So yeah, fake dating, enemies-to-lovers, sabotage, and a whole lot of accidental swooning. This isn’t just reality TV, it’s reality TV with hexes.

A Hexcellent Chance to Fall in Love by Ann Rose
Pepper’s life is basically a bad Halloween prank: every October, The Dead of Night store pops up out of nowhere, she appears with it, and poof, after Halloween, both vanish. Everyone forgets her… except Christina. Instant chemistry, ten weeks on the clock, and a curse that only breaks if Pepper tricks someone else into taking it. It’s queer, it’s spooky-sweet, this one is great for fans of The Dead Romantics and Addie LaRue.

Hopelessly Teavoted by Audrey Goldberg Ruoff
Azrael Hart’s life is one long cursed punchline, failed screenwriting career, allergic to his own cat, and now back in his family’s creepy manor just in time for ghost warnings from his dead parents. Oh, and the girl next door he’s been low-key pining for? She owns his parents’ tea shop, owes a lesser devil some souls, and can’t touch him without her magic literally setting him on fire. It’s witchy small-town and so much unresolved crush energy.

The Seven Rings by Nora Roberts
Seven brides. Seven stolen rings. One cursed cliffside manor in Maine. Sonya MacTavish has had enough, of ghosts reenacting their tragic deaths in her hallway, of the black-dress witch trying to scare her out of her own home, of the generational curse that’s been wrecking her family. With her boyfriend, Trey, and a small army of friends, she’s hunting for every clue and hidden treasure that might break the spell. It’s gothic, it’s romantic, and the grand finale of the Lost Bride trilogy. The showdown’s going to be brutal.

The Devil She Knows by Alexandria Bellefleur
Samantha’s day is already garbage, newly single, basically homeless, when she gets stuck in an elevator with a gorgeous woman who claims she’s a demon. Daphne’s pink-clad, smells amazing, and is offering six wishes for Sam’s soul. Easy loophole, right? Just use one wish to win the ex back and dodge eternal damnation. Except every wish comes with a twist, Daphne’s deal is way messier than she lets on, and somewhere between the snark and the scheming, Sam starts thinking maybe the dream girl she’s chasing… is the devil she’s already got.
