After the depressing sight of a Christmas tree and some advent calendars in shop windows since August, sometimes we all need a little push to get ourselves into the Christmas spirit when the final week is upon us. So, what better way to warm up our Christmas spirit then with the latest seasonal offering from your favourite author. Yes, seasonal reads can be overly sweet and cuter than anything has the right to be, but nothing quite beats seeing your favourite couples and some new ones canoodling under the mistletoe and generally making merry. So, we have put together a list of our favourite Christmas reads this year to share with you and get us all excited for when Father Christmas comes and pays us a visit. Merry Christmas!

The Duke and Miss Christmas
The Heirs’ Club of Scoundrels Trilogy #2.5
by Amelia Grey
This book kicked off my holiday reading this year and there’s nothing I enjoy more than a cute historical romance set around the Christmas season. It just transported me to a beautiful setting with the decorating of the tree and the good and bad of having family around for the holidays. The heroine is spunky, just how I like ’em and the hero is really adorable as well. I will say, this is a SHORT one, but it will probably leave you wanting to know more about this family and probably, like me, getting into the series.

I’ll Be Home for Christmas
Twilight, Texas #6
by Lori Wilde
I picked this one up as part of the Pick It For Me Challenge over on our GoodReads Group. I’ve been wanting to read Lori Wilde for a while and although I suspected I could pick up a book in the Twilight, Texas series out of order I just never did. This is everything I want to read for the holidays. A cute small town romance with lots of family and lots of heart. And it’s overflowing with Christmas spirit! The hero moves back to Twilight to take over his grandfather’s Christmas tree farm and the heroine swaps houses with his sister for the holidays (just like the Cameron Diaz movie!). It was a lot of fun to read, with just enough sexy and some solid characters. Review will come later this week.

Christmas with a Billionaire Rancher
Billionaire’s Club #4
by Mandy Baxter
This is an interesting book because the hero and heroine meet because the hero is a billionaire and the heroine is looking to take his money. Yes, it’s for charity but in this cute and sweet novella, Baxter’s touches of Christmas makes this for a fun and festive read.

Marry Me at Christmas
Fool’s Gold # 19
by Susan Mallery
Don’t get scared by that high series number! You can read this as a standalone! That’s sort of what I always end up doing with the books I’ve picked up from this series. I’m not current but I’m never lost when I pick one up. And Susan Mallery has the perfect voice for two of my seasonal favorite things: Holiday and Summer Reads. In this case, we have a big celebrity moving close to Fool’s Gold and he needs help planning his sister’s Christmas wedding. Jonny is totally adorable in a way that you can only hope real celebrities can be. He’s down to earth and all around great guy. The heroine Madeline is the perfect fit for him! Don’t go in expecting steam, but this is a perfect Christmas story with lots of snow, parades, and all the charm that I love to see on my seasonal reads!

Hot Holiday Nights
Play-by-Play # 10.5
by Jaci Burton
This is a must read because we all know you’re already following this amazing series, right????? In this short Christmasy installment, Ms. Burton finally explores a menage in this series and let me tell you…. things are mighty heated on this Hawaii beach for the holidays! Two delicious hunks of men, one younger and one older than the heroine who is very spunky herself. Guaranteed to warm you up this holiday season!

Sleigh Bells in the Snow AND Maybe This Christmas
O’Neil Brothers #1 and #3
by Sarah Morgan
So I first picked up SLEIGH BELLS IN THE SNOW thanks to a recommendation of one of you guys! It was completely adorable and left the other two couples in the series set up that I wanted to go and read them all right away. It’s been a while since I’ve felt that pull to do that! What a refreshing surprise. You get two Christmas stories in this trilogy so I highly recommend you pick it up! They are extremely sweet and the setting is a beautiful ski resort. Having that small town feel and to top it all with a beautiful family that you can’t help but fall in love with, these are going to be a great way to spend those cold winter nights.

Dead by Midnight
I-Team # 7.5
by Pamela Clare
You may be thinking why this book is here with its title but if you’re a fan of the series already, you’ll be thrilled to know that Clare revisits ALL the characters of the series in this suspenseful novella. It takes place around the holidays when some of the characters are attending a party and with all these important people in once place, it makes for the perfect place to hit if you’re a bad guy. While it doesn’t go too much into the Christmas vibe as some of the other books on this list, it’s so well-written it had to have a mention!

It’s a Wonderful Tangled Christmas Carol
Tangled # 4.5
by Emma Chase
This novella was originally published in the Anthology Baby, It’s Cold Outside, now released for Emma Chase fans to enjoy. Ms. Chase gives a sneak peak at how Drew and his family is doing this holiday. It’s a Scrooge Drew story and any Drew story is a sweet treat.

Saving Grace
Love Under the Big Sky #2.5
by Kristen Proby
This is a another story from the anthology, Baby, It’s Cold Outside and is my favorite story out of the five. Saving Grace is a story about a plain-Jane getting her happy-ending with a hot guy she never would’ve thought she could have. It was very sweet.

A Bad Boy for Christmas
Second Chance #3
by Jessica Lemmon
If we could all get a bad boy for Christmas, I think we’d all be happy with Santa this year. But whether you’ve been naughty or nice, this story by Lemmon is the perfect holiday read for readers. It has some scorching hot scenes in it but it also possesses that heartfelt, homey vibe that is so important is Christmas -themed novels. While this is book three in the series, I still believe that you can read this as a standalone and be fine. So grab a hot cup of cocoa, sit back and allow yourself to enjoy the holidays with a good Christmas story like this one!
