This is the book I didn’t know I needed this week. I had no clue a new Midnight Breed book was coming out and it’s not just ANY book. This is the conclusion of this beloved #paranormalromance series! @laraadrianbooks is one of the best pnr authors and if you haven’t read this series, you got lots of great books ahead of you. I’m not going to give spoilers right now but so far I’m loving the book. Loving the premise, the hero and heroine, and the fact that we are revisiting previous couples as well. Happy Sunday! So the other day I saw @sentrancedje Happy Sunday! So the other day I saw @sentrancedjem rave about this new release and I was just in the mood to pick it up. I’m about 3/4 of the way through and although I’m enjoying it, I do have some thoughts. Maybe unpopular opinion. 🤦🏻‍♀️ . . First, I think if you liked old school Colleen Hoover you’ll probably enjoy this story. Writing is different but the angst and story is similar to those. . Second, I haven’t read this author before so I’m not sure if it’s the style of writing but this book has a ton of unnecessary every day life type of scenes. I think we could’ve gotten the same effect even cutting about half of what I’ve read so far. . But maybe that’s just me. I do like my stories a bit more fast paced. . Anyway, I’ll have my final thoughts on this one later this week on the blog. . . How about you?
