Series: Black Dagger Legacy
If you are a fan of the Black Dagger Brotherhood, then you won’t want to miss out on The Black Dagger Legacy series. While this is considered a spin off of the BDB series, it’s actually intertwined with the storylines and they should be read in order of publication including books from the two series in one. We’ve gone into more detail no the series reading order in our J.R. Ward Beginners Guide.
This is also now considered a finished spin off series. J.R. Ward decided to merge the two into one again after finishing off the stories of the 4 main trainees. Even though these stories feature younger characters as protagonists, they are not to be considered really new adult books. They still deliver the same kick ass action, intrigue and romance as the main books we’ve come to love. And there’s also the added bonus of revisiting our favorites from the BDB series in each installment.
