For 2020 we've tweaked the board a little bit and have all new challenges for you. There's one difference. There are TWO sets of challenges now, because a lot of you guys finished the board early and went around it twice. I'm impressed, I can't do that and I bow down to you. So we wanted to give you guys the option of being "normal" or "super ambitious" without having to repeat prompts. The first thing you'll have to do after you print your board is to figure out if you will be playing with the MOON deck of cards, or the SUN deck of cards.⁠

Happiest of releases (a few days late lol) to Gena Showalter for THE DARKEST ASSASSIN. This novella is part of the Lords of the Underworld but, and this is my favorite part, it's bringing in also the Angels of the Dark characters!!!⁠

I really enjoyed this story. We've gotten to see Fox before, she's Galen's sidekick and now Keeper of the Demon of Distrust. But she's still just figuring out how to handle the "demon" and she's gone on a killing spree she can't really remember much of. Bjorn is one of the Sent Ones and his mission is to punish her. I'm really enjoying these short stories in the LOTU world. It's giving some closure to plot threads and also preparing us for WILLIAM'S book to come. Can you tell I'm a little excited? Back to Bjorn and Fox. They were endearing and they helped each other. Perfect chemistry and lots of fun. That's what you're always guaranteed to find in a Gena Showalter book and THE DARKEST ASSASSIN delivered. My full review will be up on the blog next week.⁠

I've started working on my 2020 #bookishgoals and I know I have to do better at keeping myself on track because I didn't do so good this year. A big part of that for me will be taking on less ARCs. That's also why it's helpful to try to make myself a guide with my bookish goals.⁠
