Things I’m obsessed with right now (and for always)…the Dragon Age games…books….comics….I love all the things.

Dragon Age seems designed just for me… fascinating characters, heart wrenching stories, complex ethical issues, hilarious moments, moments that have me sobbing like a baby and lots of killing bad guys. It even has sexy times with the character of your choosing (in case you’re interested my canon is Alistair, Fenris, Cullen, although I’m constantly changing my mind.)

Annnnd is it just me or is Varric clearly in love with Hawke and that should have been an option?

Anyways, bring on DA4 pleeeease. I need to see what happens next.

It deals with some incredibly heavy topics; all of the main characters in this story have suffered an intense loss of some kind, but Sarah manages to balance these intense emotions with hilarious and accessible writing and banter the reader can find themselves getting lost in. I found myself laughing and crying in alternating chapters. The relationships in Jo’s family are strained by grief but are also incredibly strong and close- anyone who has a close relationship with a sibling and/or niece/nephew is going to find something to relate to in this one. Happy Sunday! I'm coming at you with another book recommendation. Does it surprise anyone that it's a @sarina.bowen book? Of course not! Because I love all her books and you should go read them all. But I have a special place in my heart for the Shipley family and I was so sad that life was too hectic when this came out and got put on the back burner. ⁠

Roddy is out and proud, a baker (huge plus for this foodie lover), and out of a bad relationship. Kieran is a sexy lumberjack type, very much in the closet even to himself, and nursing a teenage crush on Roddy. Now they are roommates. 🔥🔥🔥⁠

I fell immediately in love with both of these adorable characters. There's sweetness and chemistry that will have you reading until you've finished. I basically read this in one sitting, that's how addictive it was. If you're in need of some serotonin, this is the book you need in your life. ⁠
