Review Policy

We are thrilled that you want to work with us in reviewing your book!  A few things to keep in mind before sending your requests.

Under the Covers Book Blog reads Paranormal Romance, Historical Romance, Contemporary Romance, Romantic Suspense and Erotic Romance, Dark Romance, Sci Fi Romance, LGBTQIA+ Romance, Fantasy Romance, as well as genres outside of romance including: Science Fiction, Urban Fantasy, Fantasy, Horror, Young Adult Contemporary, Young Adult Fantasy, Young Adult Historical, Women’s Fiction, Historical Fiction and Chick Lit. We do not, however, read non-fiction. And res, we love to review indie books!

Please note that we are always honest when we review books. This means if we liked your book, or not, then we offer honest reviews for our followers. Also, reviews are generally posted only on this blog and we are able to post a review to: Barnes and Noble, BookBub and Goodreads if requested. Reviews on our social media platforms are usually up to our discretion unless we have signed up for a specific tour that requires that.

Under the Covers Book Blog is open to do author and reader interviews, guest posts, podcast interviews (on The Fangover Podcast) and/or contests and giveaways. However, these are often done via invites. We don’t accept requests for guest posts.

Due to our load and scheduling, we cannot accept all requests. Requests that are send in two or three months ahead of release are much more likely to be accepted. And due to the amount of requests that come in, we can only reply to the ones that are approved.  If you have not heard back from us within a month of submitting your request, chances are it did not get approved.

We are able to accept print as well as digital copies of books. In regards to digital books, we prefer EPUB but a PDF is also fine. This can be sent to us via BookFunnel, directly to our email or directly to Kindle. Please ask for details on this if you plan on sending this way. A digital download code for an audiobook. We also accept books via Netgalley and Edelweiss, just ask us for our registered email, if you want to send a book that way.

Any review copies that are received will NOT be sold or distributed in any way.

If you have a specific reviewer in mind, please make a note of that on the form below.

We work with major and small press publishers on their upcoming titles. However, if you have a book being published with them and want to submit it here anyway, you are welcome to do so. We also work with a select number of Tour and Promo companies.  Publicists and tour hosts beware.  If you add us to your mailing lists without an introduction email first, and without our approval, we won’t work with you at all.

Please make sure you have all the above information listed in your review request, otherwise we will not be considering your book for review. Reviews not submitted through this form will not be considered for review and will be deleted.
