“I was completely invested in this story and couldn’t put it down.”

RECKLESS MEMORIES is an emotional friends to lovers small town romance that you won’t want to miss out on.

I’ve been wanting to read Catherine Cowles for a really long time and always end up pushing it down the TBR. But I put her on my 20 new to me authors to read in 2020 and then saw she had a new series coming out. Perfect timing!

I’m so glad I gave this book a try. First, it has a trope I always love reading about because it’s tricky. Siblings’ ex. RECKLESS MEMORIES tackles this topic in a deeply emotional way and I honestly couldn’t read this fast enough.

Ford and Bell have perfect chemistry but they started out when they were young as perfect friends. I loved the the journey they went on and how well matched they were. Their romance is slow and full of ups and downs. You get to see them both grow. And you can’t help but root for them all the way!

There’s a great blend of romance and mystery with a dash of angst. That second chance at a love you never thought would be yours. Pain and grief, but also healing and growing comfortable enough in your own skin.

I love small town romances and if you do as well then you don’t have to look any further. I was completely invested in this story and couldn’t put it down.

Sounds good adding to my wishlist.

I read a book once with the sibling’s ex trope and while I really liked the story and the characters, there was always that thought in the back of mind that this person used to get with your sibling.

I am glad you enjoyed this!

Can’t wait to read this one. Thanks for sharing your thoughts on it Francesca
