I feel the same way about fix her up. I loved that she was quirky and followed her own path but I do wish she had been a bit stronger on her own and remained true to herself. Project duchess and getting played are on my tbr. I also enjoyed kingdom of exiles; not as much as I thought I would but the world building is very well done and I can’t wait to read more about these characters as they were great as well.

Oh that makes me want to pick up Kingdom of Exiles again. I started reading it and it wasn’t holding my attention so I put it down. I know Angela also DNF’d it.

I could see why some would DNF it as it doesn’t go very deep into all the details. It reminded me a bit of The Kingmaker Chronicles by Amanda Bouchet. However, the beasts and their abilites are awesome and the taming of them is interesting. I am really hoping we get to know more about Calem and Ozias, members of the assassin’s guild, as well as Noc, Leena, and the beasts.

The First Girl Child by Amy Harmon.

That’s on my TBR for this month! So excited that it’s a good one.

Thanks for this! I need to take a speed reading course. I’m so behind. And I keep getting behinder and behinder. ugh

Way to kill it on those readathons you did. I was curious how you did on those. Meet Me in Monaco sounds fab. I’m also interested in the Charlie Cochet shortie and that Sabrina Jeffries story.

I loved Fix Her Up by Tessa Bailey. I plan on reading Superfan by Sarina Bowen, GETTING PLAYED by Emma Chase and ARCTIC SUN by Annabeth Albert.
