“One of the big reasons why I keep returning to these books is because the heroines are often very sweet and charming. Cassie definitely fits that mold.”
~ Under the Covers
Bella Andre has begun a new series of Sullivans for you to enjoy. This time we are in Maine and I have to say that I really enjoy how all the books blend in together but still manage to be enjoyed on their own as well.
YOUR LOVE IS MINE is all about Cassie Sullivan and Flynn Stewart. Cassie is one of seven siblings in Bar Harbor, Maine so I’m sure as the series goes on that we will see much more of the others in the series. But let’s get back to Cassie… I really enjoyed her character. She was refreshingly sweet and I loved how chatty she got whenever she was nervous. It was very endearing and I feel like one of the big reasons why I keep returning to these books is because the heroines are often very sweet and charming. Cassie definitely fits that mold.
Then there’s Flynn who is an award-winning screenwriter. He’s the big shot of the book and gets lots of media attention because of his work and dating life. However, once in Bar Harbor, we see a much more down-to-earth side to him that I much preferred. I thought that his backstory and how Ruby came into his life was a little too much at some points, but I’m glad that the author didn’t make it such a huge part of this book. Otherwise, I think it would have taken away from the small-town romance feel that a series set in Bar Harbor should have.
That being said, I thoroughly enjoyed YOUR LOVE IS MINE and I’m already looking forward to the next book in the series!
