Take a seat, grab some popcorn and an ice refreshing beverage and lets Netflix and chill. No you dirty minded individuals not like that, we want to share with you some recommendations about what we are watching and listening to. For those times when you just need to put your book down and plonk in front of the TV and relax. Whether it’s on Netflix, Amazon Prime, regular TV channels or a podcast, we are going to let you know what shows, films and podcasts we’ve been enjoying and share the love.
I kept my November mostly to the shows I’m watching on a weekly basis. That includes OUTLANDER which is back!!!! OMG!!!!!! Every episode was ending on such a gasp from me but I’m loving this season so far. I finished watching YOU and it didn’t disappoint. I definitely recommend the show if you’ve read the book, but even if you haven’t it was very well done. The only new thing I binged watched was THE MARVELOUS MRS. MAISEL on Prime – Season 1 and I’m anxiously awaiting for Season 2 to come on in December. Other than that it has been Hallmark Christmas Movie Season for me! I’m watching all of them!
I’ve been trying to catch up on one of my favourite TV programmes this month. Criminal Minds has recently come back to Amazon Prime Player and they have all 13 series! I haven’t watched any of series 13 and only half of series 12 so I started at the beginning of 12 and I am now almost up to date. I love this show! There’s lots of grizzly murder, drama and a bunch of criminal psychology thrown in as well. It appeals to the true crime addict in me. Plus, I used to enjoy just staring at the delicious Shemar Moore, now I have Daniel Henney and Adam Rodriguez to drool over!
I finally got the chance to watch Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan on Amazon Prime. Thank God for Black Friday sales, we now have a smart TV. Anyway, Jack Ryan, the TV series is just like the movie. It’s a political, action, thriller show that I couldn’t now stop watching. The only downfall and I didn’t know at the time we started, is that there’s only 1 season. Ugh, I was hoping for a longer series to binge on, but oh well. Should’ve researched it more. Yet again, we’re out for the count with nothing to watch. Suggestions
I was also able to watch Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald with my family. If you’re a fan, it’s definitely a must watch, but don’t expect too much action as there’s more focus on the story with this movie. My girls and I loved it but DH thought it was slow. I thought Johnny Depp and Eddie Redmayne were amazing. Even more fantastic was Jude Law playing the young Albus Dumbledore. He didn’t have much screen time but I just swooned every time he came up. LOL.
I still have yet to watch Bohemian Rhapsody. I’m hoping maybe this coming weekend.
What are you all watching/listening to?
