Released: January 9th 2018
Series: Black Dagger Legacy #3
Published by Ballantine Books
Pages: 432
A vampire aristocrat, Peyton is well aware of his duty to his bloodline: mate with an appropriate female of his class and carry on his family’s traditions. And he thought he’d found his perfect match—until she fell in love with someone else. Yet when his split-second decision in a battle with the enemy endangers the life of another trainee, Peyton has to face the idea that his future, and his heart, actually lie with another.
Novo, as a female in the Black Dagger Brotherhood’s training program, feels like she has to prove herself to everybody—and she has no interest in being distracted by falling in love. But when Peyton proves to be so much more than a rich playboy, she is forced to confront the tragedy that has broken her soul and closed her off from love.
As the two grapple with Novo’s past and Peyton’s present, another couple must contend with an erotic connection that is unparalleled—and potentially scandalous. Saxton, who has had his heart broken, discovers in himself a deep-seated attraction to Ruhn, a new member of the household. But will the other male explore the connection? Or will he close his mind and his heart to what could be true love . . . and cost Saxton everything?

Great review, Francesca! Glad it can be read as a stand-alone because I am super behind on the original series.
Thank you for the giveaway ladies.
Only book I need to get in the series.
Thanks for the giveaway!
Thanks for sharing your thoughts Francesca
I’m starting this book today. Can’t wait to see my favorite brothers in leather again. Also can’t wait to read about Saxton. He deserves a HEA.
I enjoy this spinoff series
you guys are awesome thanks for the giveaway
I haven’t tried this spin-off yet and will definitely have to check it out now. Thanks for the review.
I need to get caught up with the series. I have the same fear to pick up J.R. Ward books lately so I understand. Having a signed copy would be amazing. I don’t have one from any author.
Looking forward to reading this one.
Yay! So glad I can be read as a standalone. Although, I really just want Saxton’s story.
I think if I’d have thought about it, I might have been nervous about what was in this one. But, I was so excited to get the stories that were mentioned in the blurb that I dove right in and adored it. Ruhn was totally the big fabulous surprise for me as well. Ready for The Thief now. Sorta… 😉
A great highlight thank you. On my list.
I’m so excited for this book…. BDB and BDL are my fav series…. and your reviews are well said 🙂
I have only read book one in this series so far (I’m so behind on mount TBR). I’m looking forward Sexton’s story!
I’m really looking forward to reading this!
Looking forward to reading this Thnx for the chance to win a signed book
I haven’t read any books from this series, thanks for the post.
I was watchig the video first and than came here. I love the review that Francesca and her reasons of why it’s not a perfect 5! I have no read it yet and would love to. Thank you.
Thanks for that great review. Can’t wait to read this new book.
Thanks for the chance <3 This is a new author to me!
I’m glad you felt that this was more of a standalone for the series. It has been a little confusing when binge-reading to jump between the two series. I am so excited for Saxton to finally get his HEA! Then Sola and Assail in the spring.
Thank you for the great review Francesca 🙂
