Alright, so after being disappointed with The Vikings, DH managed to convinced me to watch The Walking Dead. I honestly didn’t want to because I can easily get freaked out with movies or shows that has to do with zombies or scary ghosts. Nevertheless, I was convinced and we are now on Season 2, Episode 3ish. Okay, so, it did freak me out but I do like the realistic possibility of this world. I found it entertaining, exciting and sometimes scary. The action and acting isn’t bad either. Last night’s episode though, I was a bit annoyed. It was a series of unfortunate events that was caused by the characters’ stupidity. It’s was a typical horror movie where the character ran and tripped, or was fighting with someone and did something that caused shit to happen. I was annoyed and entertained at the same time. I will admit, each episode had me watching with interest. And so, we shall continue with this show.
As I write this, this programme is on in the background. I have been OBSESSED with it in the last month or so. I can’t help it! It has two things that are almost guaranteed to get my eyes glued to the screen: Nathan Fillion (or as I like to think of him: Captain Mal Reynolds) and crime.
But, this isn’t your typical boring CSI, instead it is about beleaguered New York homicide detective Kate Beckett (Stana Katic) who has to put up with the lovable rogue and highly successful crime thriller author Richard Castle (Nathan Fillion) following her around as she is his muse for his latest crime series. Together they solve crimes and moral dilemmas in their personal life, all with a dash of tongue in cheek comedy and hilarious antics, most perpetuated by Castle.
So, if you’re in the mood for some light-hearted fun with the very sexy and hilarious Nathan Fillion and the gorgeous and surprising Stana Katic then you need to give it a try! At the moment it’s available on Amazon Prime TV series 1-8.
This month I’ve been kind of obsessed with reality TV shows. I’ve been following Law of the Jungle, mainly because my bias JB is there. And I’ve also been watching some older shows like EXID’s Showtime. Those have been my main crack.
But I’ve also returned to watch Oh My Ghost and Goblin. If you’re new to kdramas, then I would totally suggest watching these if you haven’t already. This is especially true for Goblin. But be warned though, you might want to have some tissues ready!
What are you all watching/listening to?
