“With BAYSIDE PASSIONS, Melissa Foster delivers a lighthearted, fun-filled novel that is sure to brighten up your spirits.”
~ Under the Covers
Returning to this world is always a fun time. With BAYSIDE PASSIONS, Melissa Foster delivers a lighthearted, fun-filled novel that is sure to brighten up your spirits.
This is Emery and Dean’s book and these two are seriously happier than birds in the Spring. I feel like you have to be in a really good mood to enjoy this book because the two protagonists are so full of life. If not, then you will probably feel much lighter after reading this book.
That being said, there’s A LOT of fun banter and flirting. It’s basically the entire book. While I do enjoy this, I also think that it can get a little over the top in some scenes. There were times when I wondered how it was possible for two people to be so happy, but I guess that might just be my mood. Dean and Emery get along very well, so it’s no wonder that they can chat up a storm.
In terms of conflict, there’s not much there, which is my biggest complaint about this book. It’s just a fun book, so I wouldn’t expect too much thought-provoking conflict here. As this is a friends to lovers story, you’ll get a lot of their chemistry from the very beginning.
All in all, this was an enjoyable read if a bit too upbeat for my liking. But I am looking forward to seeing where the rest of this series goes.

I have read upbeat stories when I was not upbeat. So, while this sounds cute, I’ll wait until I’m morw on their level.
This series is ok,but I prefer other series like the dark by Melissa foster! Great review annie! Shared on all my socials!!
