“Andre sticks to what she is good at, keeping the storyline simple yet engaging.”

THE BEST IS YET TO COME is the first book in the Sullivans spin off series by Bella Andre. While you don’t need to have read the other series in order to understand this one, there are quite a few references to the other characters made throughout this book so I would just keep that in mind while reading it.
As you can expect from Bella Andre, this book is filled with sweetness and charm. Set at Summer Lake in the Adirondacks, it definitely captures the summer feeling well. This book was actually previously published under a different pen name and title (HOME SWEET HOME) so to some, it might feel a little familiar. Andre sticks to what she is good at, keeping the storyline simple yet engaging.
This is a second-chance love story between Sarah and Calvin so there’s quite a lot of backstory to this couple. I was rooting for them from the very beginning and loved how the way they came back together. It was believable and didn’t feel forced.
I’m excited for this new series. While I love the Sullivans, it’s nice to be able to get something a little bit different from this author.

When it comes to books I’m pretty adventurous. I read everything from Paranormal Romance to Urban Fantasy, New Adult, BDSM, LGBT fiction, Cozy Mysteries and even YA. If it’s got the littlest trace of romance in it, then I’ll probably read it. That being said, my all-time favorite authors are J.R. Ward and Karen Marie Moning.
When I’m not submerged in a good book, you can find me musing about makeup and planners or dreaming about Kpop boys and beaches. Until then, check out my reviews and let’s talk books!
