“I don’t think Whitney G can write a bad hero!”
~ Under the Covers
I always enjoy a Whitney G book! She has a way of writing these jerks that you just can’t get enough of. I think this particular series of short novellas is nice, but I would’ve loved to see these stories fleshed out as full length books. There was so much more potential for it to be a stellar book and they are just left as okay short stories. If you are looking for something quick to perk you up during your lunch break though, then these are a lot of fun.
DIRTY DOCTOR in my opinion is better than NAUGHTY BOSS. We have a very successful doctor who is not necessarily looking for love but may be looking for someone sexually compatible to him. He’s found his perfect match on an online site but they’ve never met. Turns out she is going to be his new intern. Fun setup. The writing got my attention from the very first moment and I just didn’t want to put it down.
I wish there would’ve been more development to their romance. Because of the short page count I think we are missing some of that and the relationship quickly goes to physical and then to a more permanent resolution in the end. I don’t think it was quite as believable in terms of the timeline and result for me. I did love the characters and what we get from them in this scenario was loads of fun (and sexy fun as well) so I did enjoy it.
I don’t think Whitney G can write a bad hero! So she’ll always have me coming back for more.
