Series: Bad Boys After Dark #2
“There are so many erotic series out there that have hot sex but no substance behind it at all and at first I worried that this series would be like that, but Foster has just proven that her books are above all that because she knew exactly when to pull back and insert something that not only deepens the character’s personality but also turns this book into a one-dimensional smutty read to a hot love story instead. ”

BAD BOYS AFTER DARK: DYLAN is the second book in the Bad Boys After Dark series. You don’t necessarily need to read this series in order to enjoy them, but since the heroes are all brothers, it’s nice to know who they are because they do make frequent appearances in the books.
This series is considered the more hotter books she writes. They’re a tad more erotic so you can expect her to jump into the sex a little more quicker. I don’t mind this but what really makes this book for me is that there’s more going on than just the hot sex. This is Dylan and Tiffany’s book and it would’ve been so easy for Foster to wrap up the book within the first chapter but instead of having both character jump into bed together after one simple flirty moment at the bar, she takes a step back and brings in the emotional part of the book.
It was at this part of this book that I really came to appreciate Foster and her writing. There are so many erotic series out there that have hot sex but no substance behind it at all and at first I worried that this series would be like that, but Foster has just proven that her books are above all that because she knew exactly when to pull back and insert something that not only deepens the character’s personality but also turns this book into a one-dimensional smutty read to a hot love story instead. I was really impressed by this because to be honest, I feel like nine times out of ten, other authors would’ve just gone in for the sex without adding that emotional aspect to the story.
So if you’re in the mood for a hot read, but want one that’s actually fully-formed and well-written, look no further because Melissa Foster has you covered.
