Coreene peaked my interest with this novella getting me excited for the next installment. Though it is part of the Dragonfury series, it is a start of a spin-off series. These Highland dragons live in the same world as Dragonfury, obviously from Scotland and of course with a Scottish brogue. From what I know, each dragon will have his HEA. Much like the other dragon packs, these dragons are fierce, sexy and has been waiting a long time to finally meet their soul mates.
If you’ve met Forge from the Night Fury pack, Tydrin is his cousin and is first from this pack to get his HEA. Tydrin and Ivy were a perfect pair in a way that they equally needed and relied on each other. Thier love story was sweet but came too fast for my liking. I have a feeling we’ll see more of them as this new series unfold.
Ms. Callahan gave us a taste of each dragon’s personality. They have the humor, camaraderie and a dangerous, sexy vibe to them. There’s definitely more going on in the business aspect of this world. One of their own is missing, and I’m curious to his whereabouts. It feels like something big is brewing. I’m guessing we’ll get more answers in the next full-length novel, hopefully early next year.

I coblog and review here at Under the Covers and occasionally review for Hot Listens.I love to read PNR, UF, Contemporary, New Adult, and Romantic Suspense. Occasionally, I will venture to Erotica, BDSM reads and rarely Historical Romance. There are some sub-genres that I don’t always enjoy, but I’m open to stepping out of my comfort zone. For the most part, as long as there’s a hint of romance, I’m pretty much in.
