“This was an exciting installment in the saga and my favorite so far!”

Who would’ve thought…CROSSWINDS is the third installment in the Rising Storm serial and this one focuses on the younger kids of Storm.  I was expecting to be as uninterested as I was with the previous installment because I don’t usually care for teenage drama.  But Elisabeth Naughton proved me wrong!

This book deals with the topic of cheating and lies.  But also how people deal with grief differently.  It can break you down or turn you mean! And definitely will test who you are as a person.

Luis Moreno’s girlfriend Mallory is still dealing with her father walking out on the family, while Luis himself still has to deal with the emotional aftermath of his sister’s accident and pregnancy.  But now Mallory’s best friend, and his childhood crush, Lacey might have feelings for him as well!

If you can’t handle cheating, I would recommend you stay away from this whole serial in general.  Like I’ve said before, this is more like a soap opera so you can expect cheating and best friends’ hurting each other.  Jealousy and an intricate web of lies that will ruin lives when it all comes crashing down.

This was an exciting installment in the saga and my favorite so far!  When you are finished with this one you’ll want to have the next one in your hands right away.  I know I was.

About Elisabeth Naughton

Before topping multiple bestseller lists—including those of the New York Times, USA Today, and the Wall Street Journal—Elisabeth Naughton taught middle school science. A rabid reader, she soon discovered she had a knack for creating stories with a chemistry of their own. The spark turned to a flame, and Naughton now writes full-time. Besides topping bestseller lists, her books have been nominated for some of the industry’s most prestigious awards, such as the RITA® and Golden Heart Awards from Romance Writers of America, the Australian Romance Reader Awards, and the Golden Leaf Award. When not dreaming up new stories, Naughton can be found spending time with her husband and three children in their western Oregon home.
