DANGEROUSLY BROKEN is the second book in my Dangerous Romance Series from Berkley Heat, and it’s out now! This story started in the first book, DANGEROUSLY BOUND. Well, actually, the romance between Jamie and Summer Grace began years ago, and it’s one of the most intensely romantic books I’ve ever written—but why don’t we let them tell you about that?
Eden: You two gave me a pretty hard time when I was writing your story. Have you always been so stubborn?
–Summer: He has. Trust me. *rolls her eyes*
–Jamie: Summer Grace, don’t tempt me to put you over my knee while we’re in the middle of an interview.
–Summer: Promises, promises. *squeals* Okay, okay! But still spank me later, please?
–Jamie: *grins, dimples flashing* See what I have to put up with? But I wouldn’t have it any other way.
Eden: So, when did you two fall in love?
–Summer: Everyone knows I fell in love with Jamie the minute I saw him, when I was a little kid and he was my big brother’s best friend.
–Jamie: And she let the whole world know as soon as she hit puberty. She crawled into my sleeping bag on a camping trip with her family when she was only fourteen. She was a little minx even then.
–Summer: Almost managed to seduce you, too.
–Jamie: It’s true—she almost did, which made me feel like a total perv, since I was seventeen at the time.
–Summer: Jamie? You are a total perv. Sir.
–Jamie: Good point, sugar. And I fell in love with my sweet girl when I was a teenager. I was just too stupid to give in to it until recently.
Eden: You two have both lived in New Orleans since you first met, but Jamie, where did you live before that?
–Jamie: I grew up in Scotland—well, for the first seven years of my life, which is why I only have a trace of an accent when I drink. But after my twin brother passed in an accident, I came here with my parents and my older brother Allister. That’s when I met Summer Grace’s brother, Brandon. We were instant friends. Best friend I had until the day he died, when we were nineteen. It’s a bond Summer Grace and I will always have, because we both lost a brother that day. It’s also why I couldn’t touch her all those years.
–Summer: I’m still trying to understand that part. But I’m good with it as long as you’ll touch me now.
–Jamie: Oh, I’ll touch you, sweetheart. And sometimes it’ll be gentle and sometimes it’ll hurt, and I’m not sure which you’ll like better.
–Summer: Mmm… Yes, please.
Eden: All right, before you two do anything scandalous, talk to me about the city you both call home.
–Summer: Oh, New Orleans is a place of magic. Jamie thinks he doesn’t believe in it, but he does. Just ask him what happened when I took him to have his fortune read that night in Jackson Square.
–Jamie: I believe in it—of course I do. I’m still a Scotsman at heart, and we have magic and poetry in our souls. But I have a healthy dose of skepticism, too.
–Summer: And a good dose of sadism—don’t forget that part, Jamie.
–Jamie: As if I ever would. Luckily, you like that about me.
–Summer: I love that about you.
Eden: Okay you two—calm down and tell us a little about your amazing group of friends.
–Jamie: My closest friends these days are Mick and his girlfriend—and sub—Allie. We’ve all known each other since high school, plus Mick’s brother Neal and his wife Marie Dawn. And now my cousin Duff has come over from Scotland to join my business. SGR Motors is expanding from vintage muscle car restoration into vintage Harley restoration with his special knowledge of bikes. Which means things are about to get a little crazier in New Orleans! But you’ll find out more about Duff in DANGEROUSLY BAD. And you can read all about Mick and Allie in DANGEROUSLY BOUND. They’re into rope, if you can’t tell by the title. But I’m more of a chain guy. Yeah, got a real thing for chains.
Eden: Um…you’re off-topic, again, Jamie.
–Jamie: Is there a better topic than kink? Unless it’s how I feel about my girl.
–Summer: *dimpling* Excellent point. But I wanted to talk a little about my bestie, Dennie. She and her grandmother have been there for me since I lost my brother and my family sort of broke. She’s the best friend a girl could ever hope for, and her grandmother Annalee is as sassy as they come. Amazing, strong Southern women who kind of saved me when I needed it most and gave me a sense of family. That’s something about New Orleans, too—there’s such a strong sense of community here. We all really felt it after Katrina.
–Jamie: It’s been an experience watching the way our city has pulled itself back together. There’s still a long way to go, but everyone is working together. We’ll make it happen.
Eden: I felt it when I was visiting there. And I hope—I think—readers will have some sense of at least your little community of friends when they read the series. But your other community is through The Bastille. Tell us about your local BDSM club.
–Jamie: It’s one of the better dungeons in the country, and I’ve been to a few. Nice set-up. Great equipment. Beautiful place. I’ve been a member there for years, and so has Mick. Allie joined more recently, which I’m pretty proud to say I had a hand in, since Mick was too damn stubborn to see he needed her. Then it was Summer Grace’s turn.
–Summer: Don’t forget about Rosie and Finn, too (you can read about them in DANGEROUSLY INKED). Rosie is my tattoo artist from Midnight Ink, and now one of my dearest friends. She and Allie took me under their wings when I wanted to get into kink. They’re the ones who set up my first play date there. Jamie was not thrilled.
–Jamie: Damn right I wasn’t. You were always meant to be mine. But it did get me off my ass and bring us together, so I can’t be too mad.
–Summer: I love it when you tell me I’m yours.
–Jamie: Always. Eden, I think this interview is over. I need to get my beautiful girl alone and do some wonderful and wicked things to her.
–Summer: *batting her lashes* Yes, please, Jamie.
Eden: Okay, you two run along before you steam up the windows.

Eden Bradley, the author of Dangerously Bound, brings another Dangerous romance to passionate life...
For Jamie Stewart-Greer, BDSM is the perfect way to release the darkness inside him and use it for pleasure. But it’s getting more difficult to hide this side of himself—especially from the one person who elicits his most extreme, secret passions.
When his best friend died, Jamie promised he’d watch over his little sister, Summer Grace. Summer is a nearly irresistible sex kitten who’s been after Jamie since she was fourteen—and she’s absolutely taboo. But now she’s hunting him in his territory—the Bastille, New Orleans’ most infamous BDSM club—and Jamie knows he’s in trouble.
Summer is more than ready to indulge Jamie’s secret kinks, and as their relationship spirals into the darkest recesses of absolute pleasure, it only stirs her desire for more. If Jamie is willing to give Summer what she wants, it’s going to turn love into the most dangerous fetish of all.
