“Dee J. Adams does a great job at mixing just the right amount of excitement in with the romance and the pace of the developing relationship between Kim and Leo was perfect.”

Here’s a series that I think should be getting more attention. This is the end of the Adrenaline Highs series and as the previous books in the series, you can expect some suspense mixed in with some Hollywood fun. ALWAYS DANGEROUS features the leading man in the DANGEROUS RACE film, Leo Frost. Leo is a Hollywood superstar, and most people think of him as a playboy with a “don’t care” attitude. He had a quick fling with Kim Jacobs months back after she helped him through his financial crisis. Since then, he hasn’t stopped thinking about her. Even though she doesn’t even live in California.
Kim on the other hand has been going through a lot in her family life. One of her very few relatives, her aunt, passed away, and left her not only almost without family (only her cousin still lives) but a millionaire. In the midst of dealing with that and how it will impact her life going forward she also realizes she’s pregnant with Leo’s child. Secret baby lovers rejoice!
Of course, as is to be expected, there is an element of suspense. Someone is trying to kill Kim after she goes to California to tell Leo the news. Dee J. Adams does a great job at mixing just the right amount of excitement in with the romance and the pace of the developing relationship between Kim and Leo was perfect. They’re sexy together and have great chemistry. Even considering they had history starting out, you get a full picture.
The issues Leo had with commitment and having kids were understandable and I was glad to see common sense won out without too much angst and drama for him. I had the bad guy pegged from the very beginning so the mystery of who could be doing this is not necessarily the reason why I enjoy this, it’s more the execution which is thoroughly entertaining!
Now that this series is done, I’ll be looking out to see what Dee J. Adams has in store next.
