The golden skies, the translucent twilight, the white nights, all hold the promise of youth, of love, of eternal renewal. The war has not yet touched this city of fallen grandeur, or the lives of two sisters, Tatiana and Dasha Metanova, who share a single room in a cramped apartment with their brother and parents. Their world is turned upside down when Hitler's armies attack Russia and begin their unstoppable blitz to Leningrad.

Yet there is light in the darkness. Tatiana meets Alexander, a brave young officer in the Red Army. Strong and self-confident, yet guarding a mysterious and troubled past, he is drawn to Tatiana—and she to him. Starvation, desperation, and fear soon grip their city during the terrible winter of the merciless German siege. Tatiana and Alexander's impossible love threatens to tear the Metanova family apart and expose the dangerous secret Alexander so carefully protects—a secret as devastating as the war itself—as the lovers are swept up in the brutal tides that will change the world and their lives forever.

Honestly, I don’t think I’ve found my epic love story yet (does Twilight count? because I do love it). I’ve considered The Bronze Horseman for quite some time, but ….the length! I’m more a 250-400 page reader. Also, Russian things (I’m afraid I’ll get confused) and the fact that there are two more books in the series. So many pages! But I’ll jump in one of these days. I also bought the audio for the first book, so hopefully that will be my incentive. Thanks!

Don’t think I’ve ever read an epic love story well at least not are coming to mind

Sophia Rose

Well I wasn’t scared away by the sheer size of the Outlander series, but the big feels are what make me pause.

As to big epics, I love Outlander series, but I also love Sara Donati’s series that begins with Into the Wilderness and Mary Stewart’s Arthur and Merlin saga.

Diana Doan

Evie & Reed from Amy A. Bartol’s The Premonition series!!!!!

christina savala

It’s hard to narrow down since there are so many epic love stories out there but I really loved Nastya and Josh from The Sea of Tranquility.

Jeanine Lesperance

Looks like a good read, I would love to win

Lainie and Mason from Bound by Your Love Series by Blakely Bennett!

Shelby Leah

For me, Abbi and Travis in Beautiful Disaster – they got me started on Romance, and that will always be an epic love in my mind. <3

I’ve always liked rhys and gwennelyn’s story in another chance to dream by lynn kurland

At the moment Anna and Charles from the Alpha & Omega series by Patricia Briggs!

Ileana A.

For me is The Bronze Horseman. I read it 2 year ago and I can’t get over it!
Such an amazing love story <3

Ruth S.

Donya and Emmet from Tethered by L.D. Davis

Epic love story? Hmm, that’s tough. I would say I hadn’t read one such epic love story yet. And if I had, then wouldn’t I remember it if it was memorable enough to BE an epic love story? Though I think REAL epic love stories are more swoon-worthy. But that’s just me.

That would be A Rose In The Winter by KEW.

Laura Lovejoy Brunk

Of course Outlander comes to mind. But then there are so many others on a slightly lesser scale …The Siren series by Tiffany Reisz, though very dark is truly epic. Roark and Eve from JD Robbb’s Death series after 40 + books is totally epic !

Amy R

Pride & Prejudice

Haven`t read any probably 🙂 But my favorite novel is Revved by Samantha Towle 🙂

Betul E.

THE BRONZE HORSEMAN!! I also LOVE Archer’s Voice by Mia Sheridan and The Golden Dynasty by Kristen Ashley!
