“…I fell for Hunter and Devon from page 1 and couldn’t wait to see them get their HEA.” ~ Under the Covers
Roni Loren really can do no wrong. There is something about the way she makes you fall in love with her characters that blows me away every time. No matter the heat level of the story. YOURS ALL ALONG was very different than a lot of her books. It’s a bit more bittersweet in a way and not as scorching hot as some of her other books. But I fell for Hunter and Devon from page 1 and couldn’t wait to see them get their HEA.
Meet Hunter. He’s engaged to a beauty queen, comes from an influential political family and is also a baseball superstar. But is he getting cold feet or realizing that what he wanted all along is now completely out of his reach? No one knows he has been in love with his best friend from college, and has stayed in love with him even when he hasn’t seen him in four years. Every one thinks he’s completely straight. Until his fiance sends him to find Devon and ask him to be his best man. Things can only spark up from there!
I usually tend to enjoy stories that are told step by step in two different timelines, and in YOURS ALL ALONG I enjoyed the hell out of that. We slowly meet both characters, what makes them tick, what got them to that point. It was a beautiful way to get to know the characters and it only made me burn to see them happy together. Their chemistry, their friendship, their banter, their connection. Everything about these two draws you in. They are so comfortable and complement each other so well.
Did I mention how much I love second chance romances? THIS was an amazing story of second chance at love. Because I couldn’t help but want them get that closure for how things turned out in the past, and get to be happy like they never could backthen. Beautiful job. Ms. Loren! I wasn’t expecting anything less.

I get easily distracted by pictures of sexy guys and have tons of book boyfriends.I keep all my alpha males chained to my basement and guard them fiercely.*Back off bitches*I like to see Jason Momoa as a lot of those boyfriends, because ….. mmmmmmm JASON.MOMOA!
I’m a part time graphic designer (yes, everything you see on UTC has been done by me), run my husband's business from home and on a good day I’m a self appointed superwoman (she who can do it all).I love blogging with my girls and I couldn’t do it any other way!My first love is everything paranormal, but in the past few years I’ve re-learned to love contemporary romance.Every once in a while I like to mix things up with a historical romance, a steampunk or an LGBT book.Because I need variety to avoid book slumps.I don’t always need an HEA although I prefer one, and I love authors that can rip my heart out and make me ugly cry.
