This month flew by! And there are so many books we read that we need to bring to your attention because we loved them! Here’s a few for your reading pleasure, be sure to check them out. Did you read something amazing? Let us know in the comments!
THE SHADOWS by J.R. Ward (Paranormal Romance): This book isn’t your typical book from Ward but it definitely still stands as a romance. If you’re going to read this though, definitely have your box of tissues at hand.
RUNNING BLIND by Cindy Gerard (Romantic Suspense): Is there anyone else who does Romantic Suspense better than Gerard? I haven’t found anyone who achieves the same level of action, heat and romance like she does.
THE VIRGIN by Tiffany Reisz (Erotic Romance): Reisz provides more insight into her characters with this book, delving deeper than we’ve seen before. It’s an excellent read.
The Unbeautiful and Unraveling You series by Jessica Sorensen (New Adult): I kind of went back to reading all of Sorensen’s books this month and fell in love with her characters once again. Though each series is very different, the emotion and passion is present in all of them.
Kicking off April is the newest release from Heidi Cullinan, CARRY THE OCEAN. It’s an enlightening story that had be rooting for the heroes from the very first page. Jill Shalvis, one of my all-time favourite authors has STILL THE ONE, a charming small-town romance that will surely delight readers. Tammara Webber’s SWEET is one I am just dying for because Boyce is such a hilarious character. I’m also looking forward to some more Jessica Sorensen and Bella Andre.
THE SHADOWS by J.R. Ward (Paranormal Romance): I’ll put a repeat here on the list because this book, THIS book, moved me. The way that J.R. Ward writes a story, even if you don’t want the outcome to be the way she writes it, makes you FEEL. Oh the feels in this book. I don’t think I’ve read something that could leave me so hollow, and heart broken, but at the same time just be in AWE at the way this woman can write a scene and make me live it. Make me feel it. Kuddos to her for being fearless. And for writing one of the best books in the series, definitely the best from the last few! Top notch!
BRIGHT SIDE by Kim Holden (New Adult): This was the month of the tear jerkers for me! But wow, what an emotional ride. This isn’t an easy book to read and there’s a lot of heartbreak. But in the end it’s uplifting and satisfying.
THE VIRGIN ROMANCE NOVELIST by Meghan Quinn (New Adult): And from the tear jerkers to a hysterical book. This was a shocker for me. I enjoyed every second, every cute joke. If you like your romance on the funny side, you have to meet these characters. Laugh with them, laugh at them, and thoroughly enjoy yourself! Comes out in a few days!
ELEMENTS OF CHEMISTRY: ATTRACTION by Penny Reid (New Adult): I absolutely loved this installment! For those of you who hate serials, wait a little while and the whole book will be released. But if you have no issues with serials (and mind you this one is not short installments, more like good sized novellas) then pick this one up NOW! I fell in love immediately with them! Installment 2 will also be out in April!
DIARY OF AN ACCIDENTAL WALLFLOWER by Jennifer McQuiston (Historical Romance): This story was a surprise. It’s the first time I read this author, I went into it blind (didn’t even pay attention to the blurb) but something about the cover was calling my name! And I enjoyed every second of this very different story. It’s not all about society sometimes, and love can conquer the differences.
A CURSE UNBROKEN by Cecy Robson (Paranormal Romance): A Curse Unbroken by Cecy Robson was another top read for me. I am totally into this series and not one book has disappointed me yet. A series filled with magic, vamps, shifters and others alike.
