The First Edition

Welcome to the first ever edition of Random Thoughts of a Romance Blogger! It gives me a chance to unload all the strange things that pop into my mind, thoughts which I am damn sure are the result of reading one too many romance novels – okay, not possible, we all know there is no such thing as too much. But, I am pretty certain that non-romance reader wouldn’t look at an Escalade and wonder if Butch O’Neal and Vishous from the Black Dagger Brotherhood are inside…then drifting off into a fantasy when the two sexy Brothers are inside and are stalking me to show their undying devotion to yours truly. It could happen right?Blood Kiss

But the Black Dagger Brotherhood has been on my mind recently though, mainly because of the exciting news that we are getting a new series, which will give us some old school WARDen; heavier on the romance and relationships, lighter on the politics. I confess when I saw the news, happy dancing was involved along with a good deal of squealing and a few fist pumps for good measure. Luckily, I wasn’t in public at the time so no arrests were made. Please tell me, was I the only one with such a dramatic reaction?

Of course, I have lots of dramatic reactions, whenever I see news of a release I am looking forward to; there is normally a plethora of strange sounds that emerge in my excitement as well as some unusual movements, which I hesitate to call actual dancing. The strange species I like to call “non-readers” don’t know what they are missing out on. These “non-readers” will never know the delights of the a stare-down with their kindle at midnight as they wait for their book to download, nor will they ever get the thrill of tackling the poor postman as he comes to their door with their long awaited Amazon package. Honestly, what do they do with themselves?

I feel better now I have released some of the crazy stored up in my head. Now leave me alone so I can continue my Butch and V daydream…I may add a little Xcor now to spice things up a little.

Over and out.

Thanks for the fun post, I admit that I haven’t read this series yet but I have purchased most of the books so I can start reading it.

Haha! Yes I have those moments when its clear as day to me that one of my fictional favorites could be real and moving right there through my real life. We have a biker club down the street and I’m always looking to see if a Reaper is visiting. 😉
