“The true mark of a talented author, Jaci Burton continues to impress me with every story she writes. Full of heart and fire.” ~ Under the Covers
The SuperBowl was just this weekend and I can’t think of a better time to immerse yourself in a hot football themed romance. In particular, with the queen of the genre herself… Jaci Burton. Jaci Burton has another winner in QUARTERBACK DRAW!
Things spark and sizzle from the very beginning when hot quarterback Grant Cassidy meets gorgeous supermodel Katrina Koslova while doing a swimsuit photo shoot together in the tropics. While this seems like it would be all kinds of predictable, Ms. Burton’s characters take me on an unexpected ride. Especially Katrina. Kat is a strong woman who is not influenced by her environment, she’s using it to her best advantage. And that advantage revolves around her siblings, whom she has had the responsibly of raising all by herself from a very young age. She’s mature and selfless, and in so many ways she’s grown up beyond her years and that is something I absolutely loved about her!
Grant is almost her opposite. He’s fun and carefree. Focused on his career and his goals, but up to now there hasn’t been much else to fill his life. The perfect complement to each other, and their relationship was masterfully done. Perfect chemistry, perfect build up, perfect romance. Let’s not put aside the steam factor because Grant is one hot male specimen! He’s got the tenderness to win your heart and the stamina to melt your bones. This story was sweet, fun and sexy as only Jaci Burton can do.
QUARTERBACK DRAW also delves more into yet another family. You know I’m a sucker for families, right? Well the Cassidy’s are sort of sports royalty and I cannot…CANNOT, wait to read all their stories. I wish they were on my calendar already. Their dynamics are so much fun and each one of them is special and has something that’s already sparked my interest.
The true mark of a talented author, Jaci Burton continues to impress me with every story she writes. Full of heart and fire. And she still manages to keep me wanting more. More of her characters, more of her writing, just more.
