Author Override: Bikers vs Billionaires

Bikers Vs. Billionaires Blog Tour
Featuring Julie Ann Walker, Julie Kenner,
Jennifer Probst, and Ella Goode

Which is sexier, a biker or a billionaire? This could be the ultimate question in the romance community. After all, who can choose between a thousand dollar silk tie or a rough leather jacket? A growling Harley or a sleek Porsche? Today we’ve got authors Julie Ann Walker, Julie Kenner, Jennifer Probst, and Ella Goode debating the merits of their biker and billionaire heroes. Who wins? The readers!

Julie Ann Walker

When I was first asked to do this Bikers vs. Billionaires blog tour, my initial reaction was to rub my hands together gleefully and think, “No contest.” LOL! Because while private jets and yachts are cool, do they really compare to a quarter ton of hand-rolled steel? Can they possibly compete with foot after foot of chrome so shiny you can see your reflection in it? Is there any way they measure up to the sound of rolling thunder that a perfectly engineered dual exhaust makes? And can they ever match the roar and vibration of a fine-tuned V-twin engine? I think not! Which is why bikers are definitely hotter than billionaires. Because, baby, there isn’t a mode of transportation out there that can compete with a custom-made Harley chopper on the sexiness scale! Vroom! Vroom!

Julie Kenner

Power. Yup, I’m gonna go with power as the number one reason that billionaires are sexy. Maybe not all billionaires, but certainly those that are self-made. Because a man who can build up that kind of a fortune is a man who not only has power, but knows how to use it. And when you think about a man that powerful and the woman he wants … well, that can be seriously sexy.

Raine Engel, my newest billionaire hero, is powerful in a lot of ways. Not only is he beyond a billionaire, but as an immortal, he has an entirely different type of power!

“I want to do everything to you.” He lifts his head from my breast and tilts up to look at me. His eyes burn like blue flame, and I feel like I could fall inside them. “There is nothing I won’t give you. Nowhere I won’t take you to give you pleasure.”

Ella Goode

Bikers belong in a unit bound by loyalty and brotherhood. When they ride, their club is at their backs. The brotherhood and sense of belonging is one of the more romantic elements of the motorcycle club. Judge, the president of the Death Lords MC in Her Secret Pleasure, explains to skeptical Pippa that the club is about men who are out of step with what’s considered appropriate in society finding a place of their own, where they can celebrate their love of the motorcycle, the spirit of the road, and the love for each other.

Take a ride with the Death Lords and you won’t want to ever stop.

Jennifer Probst

The money.

Yeah, I know, You’re thinking, money shouldn’t be sexy. But let’s be honest. This is fiction, and fantasy, and I want my man uber rich. The kind of rich that sweeps a girl off her feet and there is absolutely no limit in what he can do for you. Private jets. Exotic travel. Designer gowns and shoes sent to your hotel wrapped up in gorgeous boxes. Sexy lingerie that costs a fortune he’s picked out just for you. Gourmet dinners, private limos, and restaurants that are rented specifically for you, so he can do very bad things to you during dinner just because he wants to. Just because he can. Lush hotel rooms, with champagne and strawberries nibbled in bed, on silken sheets. Sexual escapades in jet tubs with gold fountains. The only limit is a billionaire’s imagination—and trust me, when it comes to money and sex, they have no limits. Money may not buy happiness, but it buys freedom and fantasy in a way a woman dreams of.

About the Books

Caress of Darkness: 1001 Dark Nights by Julie Kenner

From the first moment I saw him, I knew that Rainer Engel was like no other man. Dangerously sexy and darkly mysterious, he both enticed me and terrified me.

I wanted to run-to fight against the heat that was building between us-but there was nowhere to go. I needed his help as much as I needed his touch. And so help me, I knew that I would do anything he asked in order to have both.

But even as our passion burned hot, the secrets in Raine’s past reached out to destroy us … and we would both have to make the greatest sacrifice to find a love that would last forever.

Her Secret Pleasure Her Secret Pleasure by Ella Goode

I love two things—books and bad boys. I’m trying to kick the bad boy habit and hold on to the loving books one. When I take the new librarian position in Fortune, I immediately say yes when the Chief of Police asks me out and deliberately turn my back on the bad motorcycle riding boys that litter the Fortune landscape. After all, my bad boy yen was kick started by the frequent absences of my nomad father. But no one turns down a man like Judge, the president of the Death Lords MC, not even a girl trying to be good.

When Pippa Lang breezes into town in her little red convertible, the wind blowing out her big red hair, there is no way the dirty Chief of Police is going to keep her. That red hair belongs on my pillow and her hot body between my sheets. And no one, not the Chief, not the town, and not even Pippa, is going to stop that from happening.

Aw man. What an awesome post and topic! Both sides are well represented! Just give me an alpha-male, so confident in his abilities but able to allow himself to fall in love without turning into and alpha-hole. 🙂

I have to go with the billionaire so long as the money isn’t illegal….I tend to avoid biker books bc many deal with the illegal aspects of the the biker clubs and I can’t get around that

Sophia Rose

Oh man, I like both, but you gals have some persuasive arguments. 😉
