UTC Interviews Nicholas from KILLER QUEEN by L.H. Cosway

~L.H. Cosway and Nicholas~

Hi Nicholas thanks for coming Under the Covers with us and now tell us all about you!

So, what can you tell us about KILLER QUEEN?

Delighted to be here, my darling, don’t you just have the most beautiful eyes. Exquisite! Killer Queen is my diary. It gives you lovely readers an exclusive glimpse into the mind of a stiletto wielding, dress wearing, make-up loving heterosexual drag queen. So, you know, all very normal stuff. It contains the most pivotal moments in my life to date.

Why was it important to you to get your POV out?

Well, I simply couldn’t refuse the chance to talk about my most favorite subject: myself. Now could I? But in all seriousness, I wanted you to know my side of the story, wanted you to feel what I was feeling when I fell for my Freda. After all, she is partial to going off on tangents, bless her big boobed socks. I like to think that my version gives you a more succinct account. I get right down to the juicy bits and cut out all of the classic Fred meanderings. Not that I didn’t love her meanderings, of course.

What first attracted you to Freda? And what made you fall in love with her?

I saw her in a picture and thought, my, my, aren’t those a glorious set of breasts. When I met her in person I was instantly smitten with her smart mouth. I don’t recall the exact moment at which I knew I loved her, aside from when my good friend Phil slapped me across the face and told me so. Perhaps I loved her from the very beginning and didn’t even realize it.

How does your life compare now to before you met Freda?

Before Fred I was Dorothy living in a black and white Kansas, then when she came along I was skipping into a techni-colored Land of Oz.

Are there any parts of PAINTED FACES that surprised you when you saw it? Or any events that you saw completely differently?

Some parts were difficult for me, especially when I pushed her away in Edinburgh. Back then I was so consumed by my own pain that I didn’t think how badly she might be feeling. What surprised me was her deep understanding of who I was and why I did what I did. I was also surprised and delighted by how intrigued she was when she first discovered my true profession.

What do you feel more comfortable in, a dress or jeans?

On the stage, a dress. Everywhere else, jeans. In bed, a banana-hammock. Of course I’m joking. My bed is a clothing free zone 😉

You are taking Freda out for a romantic night, where would you take her, what would you do?

Dinner and a show, my dear. Then back home for the final act.

What’s your favorite song?

Never ask a singer that question! It’s impossible to answer. I’m the town bicycle when it comes to music, I’ll give everyone a go. Except for Daniel O’Donnell.

If we came back to see you and Freda in 10 years’ time, what do you hope we will see?

I hope you’ll see us more or less the same, happy, with perhaps a few extra pounds and few extra crow’s feet. I’ll still be performing when I’m eighty, and Freda will still be making her cupcakes.

Thanks for letting us pick your brain and we hope we didn’t make a mess of ourselves drooling and staring. 🙂

Not at all! Now, I just bought a new pair of Louboutins. Come let me model them for you.

When the past hurts, it bites.

Takhini Wolves, Book 4

Meet Evan Stone. Laid-back, in-control Alpha of the Takhini Wolves. Life’s not perfect, but he’s got a good handle on his world. At least, he did—until the night he ends up in jail, soaking wet and wondering what the hell just happened.

The “what” is Amy Ryba, a vengeful female who’s decided it’s long past time to make Evan pay for his sins. Amy has spent years tracking him down, and the last nine months working in secret to destroy him. She’s ready for anything—except discovering the shifter she hates is her mate.

Suddenly, Evan’s not so very in control, of himself or his pack. And unless Amy can learn to forgive and forget, she’ll have to do the unthinkable: reject her mate.

With two packs watching, one thing is certain. Their personal issues won’t stay personal for long. If Amy and Evan can’t find a way to work together, there won’t be a happily-ever-after for them…or any of the wolves of Whitehorse.

Warning: Contains angsty wolves. Lots of angsty wolves causing explosions of all sorts, playing bad pranks, hacking computers, and having angry sex against a wall or two. Not all at the same time, though, because that would be silly.
