What a cute and light-hearted story.” ~ Under the Covers

What a cute and light-hearted story. Thea Harrison gives her readers more of the Cuelebre family story, but this time she gives us a glimpse through Liam’s eyes.

Liam is Dragos and Pia’s first born. Being that he is a special breed, not even his parents know what he is capable of. Though mature for his age, he still needs to learn playground rules, friendships, loyalties, and most of all; he will need to learn how to control his powers and temper.

Liam A.K.A Peanut is just adorable. He is smart, cunning, ruthless, compassionate, and a romantic….very much like his dad. I loved getting to know him.

I enjoyed seeing Dragos and Pia through their son’s eyes. What they were going through and yet, their bond continues to stay strong. They have certainly made a mark in their son’s eyes. At a very young age, you know Liam will be just like his parents and with their DNA’s possibly even stronger. I wonder if Ms. Harrison have any plans to make a spin-off of Liam’s story. After reading this novella, i would love to read more.

There are no steamy scenes, obviously. I was, of course, hoping there would be, but being that it’s Liam’s POV, it’s probably for the best. Pia and Dragos are still working out their issues. Dragos’ memory is not fully back and Pia is struggling with a few changes but overall, they are staying very strong. With troubles going on at home, I can’t help wonder what is brewing else were in the Elder Races. I’m thinking, I should brace myself for what is to come next.

This book was, of course, too short, but it managed to grab me and made a mark in my reading experience. I think this is the first book I read that is in a child’s POV. It’s different, but I enjoyed it. *ARC provided by publisher

About Thea Harrison

I write paranormal romance, urban fantasy, and other stuff. I taught myself to read when I was four. That was around the time I tried to ride my tricycle to work. I wasn't sure where work was, but I knew it had to be interesting if people went there every day. Now I combine my love of books with work, and I don't have to ride my tricycle to get there. My Elder Races series began May, 2011. You can also find me on Twitter and Facebook!

I am young at heart and a die hard romantic living in California.I am happily married to a man who understands my love for reading, blogging and my book boyfriends. I have two beautiful girls who are also avid readers but forbidden to any of my books.I like running, CrossFit and eat healthy but not necessarily good at it.My motto is “I have the right to choose my calories” and often, my choice of poison is a bag of Flammin’ Hot Cheetos.

I coblog and review here at Under the Covers and occasionally review for Hot Listens.I love to read PNR, UF, Contemporary, New Adult, and Romantic Suspense. Occasionally, I will venture to Erotica, BDSM reads and rarely Historical Romance. There are some sub-genres that I don’t always enjoy, but I’m open to stepping out of my comfort zone. For the most part, as long as there’s a hint of romance, I’m pretty much in.

I read this too and thought it was just so cute. I really enjoy these short stories into the lives of the Cuelebre, especially with Peanut POV.

Thanks Angela
