Monthly Recs: The Witch With No Name by Kim Harrison (Urban Fantasy) – With the last book in the Hollows series, Harrison brings everything into full circle. Rachel finally gets her happily ever after and I think readers will feel bittersweet emotions when they read this last book. It’s In His Kiss by Jill Shalvis (Contemporary Romance) – Shalvis never fails to lift spirits with her writing. This book sets up the next three books in the series and I gotta say, I’ve never been more excited to read! Willing Victim by Cara McKenna (Erotic Romance) – This one is an oldie, but I cannot help but enjoyed it nevertheless. There’s something deliciously dark about this hero and I loved that McKenna made him comfortable in his own skin. Cross & Crown by Abigail Roux (M/M Romance) – Taking a different angle never seemed so easy, but Roux steps away from her leading men, Ty and Zane and focuses on Kelly and Nick. I definitely cannot wait to see where the rest of the series goes. THE WITCH WITH NO NAME by Kim Harrison (Urban Fantasy) – What an ending! This book ends the series and changes everything I wasn’t expecting all that went down but I can say I think I couldn’t have asked for better. And let me warn you, you will fall even more in love with Trent. And I was crushing pretty hard already. STRADDLING THE LINE by Jaci Burton (Contemporary Romance) – Ohhh this book! You know I’ve enjoyed every book in this series but I have to say that this one is closer to my enjoyment of the first few books. This was extremely hot, I loved the easy going connection between the H/h and I absolutely loved the family and friend connections. We get to visit and have fun with all of our favorite characters. I specially love the women hanging out. And did I mention this is hot? Yep, you have to read it! COWBOY TAKE ME AWAY by Lorelei James (Erotic Romance) – Oh the sad moment when you see a series end. I wasn’t expecting to crush on Carson like I did but I fell for him from the first page. And I cried. Awesome ending to one of my all time favorite series. HOUSE OF THE RISING SUN by Kristen Painter (Urban Fantasy) – I loved the vibe in this book because it’s different. There’s enough intrigue and action, but also it’s fun and sexy. I can’t wait to explore more of this world. WRITTEN IN RED by Anne Bishop (Urban Fantasy) – Finally a series that is not cookie cutter, the world building is amazing, and I couldn’t put it down. This book kept me glued to the pages (or the headphones, more accurately) and on edge. I loved everything about the story and the characters and I can’t wait to see more.
