Ava March does a fantastic job of merging M/M and Historical Romance in a sultry, spicy story that transports you to another time. ~ Under the Covers

Sometimes the merging of genres can result in a big mess. Othertimes, it’s perfection and ALL IN WITH THE DUKE is one of those rare cases where it works. Ava March does a fanastic job of merging M/M and Historical Romance in a sultry, spicy story that transports you to another time.

This is the first book in a new series, however if you’ve read March’s other books, then you may recognized some familiar names. In this book, readers meet Max, the Duke of Pelham. He is wealthy and very busy, leaving him with no time for himself. When he decides to visit a decadent brothel, he finds a special someone that happens to be everything he has ever desired.

Tristan is rentboy and in their first encounter together, Max and Tristan soon discover an addicting quality in one another. Max continues to visit again and again until one night, he finds Tristan occupied with another man. I’ll leave you to read about what happens next, but it’s actually quite interesting to see the turn of events which lead Max into take Tristan out of the brothel and into his custody.

I really enjoyed this novel. Both characters are very likeable. Their sex together is passionate and sultry. I should also mention that Max has a wonderful preference for leather and BDSM so that definitely spices up this book a little bit. Halfway through, there were some times when I felt that the scenes were dragging a tiny bit. However, right when I wondered if something better would happen, it did!

March has a wonderful gift and after reading ALL IN WITH THE DUKE, I know I will continue to read everything she writes!

About Ava March

I'm Ava March, an author of smoking hot M/M historical erotic romances. I love writing in the Regency time period, where proper decorum is of the utmost importance, but where anything can happen behind closed doors.

I’m an obsessive makeup junkie and a compulsive reader. I like to call Under the Covers Book Blog my stomping ground, but when I’m not talking about books with my girls, I write New Adult Dystopian and Contemporary Romance under the pen name Ana Jolene (http://www.anajolene.com). I also work as a virtual assistant for authors. You also can find me as a reviewer and columnist for FreshFiction.com.

When it comes to books I’m pretty adventurous. I read everything from Paranormal Romance to Urban Fantasy, New Adult, BDSM, LGBT fiction, Cozy Mysteries and even YA. If it’s got the littlest trace of romance in it, then I’ll probably read it. That being said, my all-time favorite authors are J.R. Ward and Karen Marie Moning.

When I’m not submerged in a good book, you can find me musing about makeup and planners or dreaming about Kpop boys and beaches. Until then, check out my reviews and let’s talk books!

This book sounds like something I would enjoy. I have only read contemporary M/M but did enjoy Kate Pearce’s House of Pleasure series which has F/M, M/F/M, M/M/F and M/M.

This would seem like a difficult genre to write…I’ve read historical romances where are the requisite heir and a spare the husband and wife agreed to have discreet affairs….the husband would be with his lover but that’s all that would be mentioned…I would like to read this… thank you for your review
