Angela Verdenius never fails to give me something sweet and sexy ~ Under the Covers
Quiet and shy, voluptuous Lori Mackay isn’t used to much attention, especially of the male kind. But suddenly everyone in her small town is gossiping about her love life, even though there is nothing to tell. Matt Winters has been falling for Lori since he moved in to her neighbourhood, he just needs to convince her that he wants her curves and all but convincing Lori is easier said than done.
Angela Verdenius never fails to give me something sweet and sexy, her combination of too-good-to-be-true heroes and rubenesque heroines is fun to read and sends me straight to fantasyland, where the stud with the 6 pack doesn’t mind my Buddha belly.
If you like other books by this author you will like this one; the story line doesn’t differ that much from book to book. But that doesn’t stop me from enjoying them and Lean on Me had funny and likable characters, the sexy parts are enough to get you squirming and the romance bloomed beautifully between Matt and Lori.
This was a light and fluffy read, but that isn’t necessarily a bad thing, it was fun and I would recommend if you want something nice to chill out with.

Annnnnd I will stop myself there, before I start waxing lyrical about my love of historical romance and fantasy as well; no one needs to know about my elf fantasies. As you can tell, I adore and day dream about most romance genres, and my three big loves are 1) reading about romance 2) writing about romance and 3) talking about romance with my gals. Which, is why I love Under the Covers so much, I get all my bookish needs satisfied and don’t get judged when I talk about my favourite characters like they are real people. Which they are right?
