“The other sinners have nothing on Eric!” Under the Covers
I was very anxious to get this book. A lot of that was because I wanted to finally have all the books in this series because I’ve always considered reading them in order now that they are all out so I can get the right flow of the story. Of course, time wouldn’t allow me to do that now when I got WICKED BEAT in my hands, but nevertheless, I was so excited!
I couldn’t wait to find out about Eric but I admit I was never his biggest fan. He was always sort of there in the background for me and I didn’t feel any attraction. But bad boy rockstar…he didn’t disappoint. The other sinners have nothing on Eric!
What I thought would be a timid guy who would tiptoe around the girl he likes is a straight up seducer! Eric Sticks is hot, HOT HOT! I’m just going to say he surprised me in more than one good way without losing his touch from previous books. Yes, that means sometimes he still likes to watch. But we also get to know why.
And other than wanting to keep Eric locked in my basement for my personal enjoyment, I really liked Rebekah most of the time. Yes, as with other Sinners heroines, I had my moments of annoyance where I wanted to break her skull open but I liked the fact that she is with Sinners because she’s trying to get her career going. Didn’t like so much how that might’ve been without a regard for her own brother a bit. It seems all the women in this series have no inhibitions and from the get go Rebekah wants Trey. Don’t all women want Trey anyway? And men?
The dynamics between Eric and Rebekah were interesting and seeing their relationship develop while she still had her crush on Trey and even included him, well lets just say this was not where I had seen this book going and I was pleasantly surprised. By the end, I was a true believer in them as a couple though. Ex boyfriend mishaps and all.
And speaking of the ex….Thanksgiving dinner! All I’m going to say. Trish thanks for reminding me about that scene because it was so hot!
If you haven’t started this series, I’d recommend you do now. They are all out! Read them in the order they were meant, not the order they were published. And they do get better with each book! Rockstars for my keeper shelf for sure. I’m sad to see their story end but can’t wait for Ms. Cunning to continue with Exodus End.

I get easily distracted by pictures of sexy guys and have tons of book boyfriends.I keep all my alpha males chained to my basement and guard them fiercely.*Back off bitches*I like to see Jason Momoa as a lot of those boyfriends, because ….. mmmmmmm JASON.MOMOA!
I’m a part time graphic designer (yes, everything you see on UTC has been done by me), run my husband's business from home and on a good day I’m a self appointed superwoman (she who can do it all).I love blogging with my girls and I couldn’t do it any other way!My first love is everything paranormal, but in the past few years I’ve re-learned to love contemporary romance.Every once in a while I like to mix things up with a historical romance, a steampunk or an LGBT book.Because I need variety to avoid book slumps.I don’t always need an HEA although I prefer one, and I love authors that can rip my heart out and make me ugly cry.
