Tell us your latest news? Release? Upcoming Release? Anything you want us to know?
The second book in “The Doms of Genesis” series, “Master of My Desire” was released last month and am hard at working hard on the third; “Master of My Mind”. I hope to release it by October, 2013.
“The Young And The Submissive” the second book in “The Doms of Her Life” series – A collaboration with New York Times Bestselling Author, Shayla Black, the amazing Isabella LaPearl, and myself will hopefully be out; in October, 2013 as well. Sorry for the delay, but it will be well worth the wait – trust me!
When and why did you begin writing?
I started writing when I was thirteen… just a few years ago! (Laugh) My mind was whipping up stories way back then.
When did you first consider yourself a writer?
I don’t think it really sank in until I read my first review. Then of course, my feet didn’t touch the ground for a couple of days after that.
What inspired you to write your first book?
I was with a group of submissive friends chatting about the lifestyle. One friend said that she was so busy with life that she felt as if she’d lost her submissive place and was worried she wouldn’t find her way back. THAT’S when the wheels started churning in my brain. I wondered what it would be like to lose your submission – or at least think you had – only to discover it had been there all along just buried beneath stress, self-doubt, and some rather unfortunate events. And that is how “Embracing My Submission” was born.
Do you have a specific writing style?
I think every author has a unique style all their own. When I write, I strive to do two things; keep the reader captivated and emotionally invested in the characters. I have read a lot of books that have made me laugh, cry and cheer…Those are the kinds of stories I aspire to paint with words; the ones that stay with you long after the last chapter ends.
How did you come up with the title?
The titles for my books usually pop into my head before I even begin to write. There is only one story I’ve ever written, (it’s still sitting on my hard drive) that I didn’t have a title for until the entire novel was finished.
Is there a message in your novel(s) that you want readers to grasp? If so, what?
Growth; emotional growth. To feel the characters struggle from within their chrysalis, and cheer them on as they spread their wings and fly.
Chocolate Cake or potato chips?
Both – I like salty and sweet.
Wine or Beer?
Hrmm, neither, but you put a margarita in my hand, and I’m one happy woman!
Man in Uniform or Construction Worker?
Both… at the same time. *Wicked Grin*
Clean shave or 5 o’clock shadow?
5 o’clock. Scruff is sexy as hell.
Lace or cotton? Thong or Granny panties?
Okay this is probably TMI – but… Commando *blush*
Toys or no toys?
Toys – Toys – Toys.
Handcuffs or Silk Scarf?
Oh, I’m really not that picky? *Giggle* Bring ‘em both on – I’m game for just about anything!
Missionary or creative?
Creative. Oh heavens, yessssssssss!
Naughty or Nice?
I really want to say “Nice” just to see how many of you will spray coffee or soda over your monitors, but that would be just plain mean. *Smirk*
Naughty, Nasty, and All Night!
Plowing into Bambi and totaling my SUV wasn’t the way I envisioned starting my vacation. Then again, neither was being rescued by two gorgeous men. Nick Masters and Dylan Thomas swooped in to save me from the wreck. They weren’t just knights in a shining truck, but Dominants so potent the submissive hidden inside me clawed to kneel at their feet.
To my surprise, they offered to teach me the joys of submission. I shoved down my fears and agreed to spend one glorious week of pleasure under their hand, at the center of their raw passion. With each command and touch, they bared my soul and stole my heart. With them, I felt like a beautiful—if kinky—Cinderella. But all too soon, the clock struck midnight, and I fled…
Returning to my lackluster life, I was determined to somehow survive without the masters of my desire. I never imagined they would travel a few hundred miles to hunt me down. Could I say yes when they offered to bestow something on me far more beautiful than a glass slipper?
