I enjoyed Shane and Daisy’s steamy beginning. I have no doubt readers who enjoy a hot romantic suspense read will enjoy this as well. ~Under the Covers Book Blog
Juvenile Detective Daisy Callahan and Detective Shane Ford are paired up for a special missing persons assignment where they attend a secret sub-club…as a couple. Though they never had any relations other than work, they had always been attracted to each other. Well, this assignment will definitely tip them over the top and fall into their desires.
I actually read this book after I’ve read Sworn to Protect, which is the first installment of this series. I’m glad I went back and read this book because this novella is the introduction to their relationship, which was mentioned in Sworn to Protect but not in detail. We also see more interaction at the precinct. The banters and comebacks were hilarious.
Armed and Dangerous is a quick hot read, preparing readers for what to expect in this series.

I coblog and review here at Under the Covers and occasionally review for Hot Listens.I love to read PNR, UF, Contemporary, New Adult, and Romantic Suspense. Occasionally, I will venture to Erotica, BDSM reads and rarely Historical Romance. There are some sub-genres that I don’t always enjoy, but I’m open to stepping out of my comfort zone. For the most part, as long as there’s a hint of romance, I’m pretty much in.
