“Ms. Belle knows how to end a part with a hook that will leave you running to grab the next part.” ~Under the Covers

Things are heating up in Silicone Valley!  After the big cliffhanger from the first part, where we found that Connie finally gave in to her needs, at least physical ones, we now deal with the sort of aftermath of that first encounter.

Cheating is always a touchy subject for me, but the author does a great job at making you feel like Connie.  She gave up her whole life to follow her boyfriend’s dream, moved to a new city for him and now he kind of left her stranded and unattended.  All things that will put a strain on any relationship.

Even though Connie’s mind wants to struggle and stop the affair, her physical attraction to Mellors is too great and they are sure to heat up the pages of this part with raw passion and lust.  This might be the part where I am just as confused as to what I want the outcome of this story be as Connie probably is.

All the while we have the side stories.  I love being able to glimpse this story from different perspectives.  Not just the heroine and the hero, but also the ever nosy personal assistant that wants nothing more than to get rid of Connie.

As always, Ms. Belle knows how to end a part with a hook that will leave you running to grab the next part.  Good thing there are only 4 parts so only one more cliffhanger in my future.

I’m a 30 something sun lover living in the Big Apple (read New York).I’m a book and coffee addict and lover of all things elephants.

I get easily distracted by pictures of sexy guys and have tons of book boyfriends.I keep all my alpha males chained to my basement and guard them fiercely.*Back off bitches*I like to see Jason Momoa as a lot of those boyfriends, because ….. mmmmmmm JASON.MOMOA!

I’m a part time graphic designer (yes, everything you see on UTC has been done by me), run my husband's business from home and on a good day I’m a self appointed superwoman (she who can do it all).I love blogging with my girls and I couldn’t do it any other way!My first love is everything paranormal, but in the past few years I’ve re-learned to love contemporary romance.Every once in a while I like to mix things up with a historical romance, a steampunk or an LGBT book.Because I need variety to avoid book slumps.I don’t always need an HEA although I prefer one, and I love authors that can rip my heart out and make me ugly cry.

O.M.G. I’ve never heard of this series but I’m off to shop. I don’t like cheating either but some authors can write it and it doesn’t bother me as much.

I hope you enjoy! It’s only four parts so not a huge wait to get to the ending. I don’t think I could’ve made it if the issue of cheating was dragged on any longer.

I have a HUGE issue with cheating since I was cheated on earlier in my life. Plus, my brother is a serial cheater. UGH!

Yes, serials can be hard for some. I admit they are for myself as well, since I tend to not finish them. However, I’ve finished both serials I’ve read by this author.

I’m not a fan of serials at all but I’m intrigued by this one-thanks for the review Francesca!
