Author Override is the place where authors take the reins and take you on a journey into their world. Some may allow you into their private writing dens. Others may take you along with them on research trips or interviews. Whatever the case may be, sit back, relax and enjoy the ride because here you’ll get an in-depth look into an author’s musings.

This is an unusually attractive post. Well done. It looks like a wonderful time, but give me indoor plumbing any day.
I do like plumbing–I’ll admit it, but sometimes a jump in the lake suffices. 😉
Can you please adopt me? I come fully grown, well-raised (thanks mum!), with a doctorate (in ~3 months), and an adventurous spirit. And I scuba dive :).
Stoked for HIGH RISK!
Looking forward to hearing what you think! One more day. 😀
Those are some awesome pictures. I grew up in a concrete jungle and I can only image what’s it like to camp out in the wilderness is like.
That park looks beautiful!! Now if it was only a little closer to where I live.
Can’t wait to read the Adrenaline series
I’ve been wanting to go to Canada for ages, but I admit I hadn’t thought about the prairies–this changed that!
It’s a different kind of adventure, that’s for sure, but so much fun. Hope you get a chance to try.
I’m a huge fan of the outdoors. One of my favorite places to hike and camp is Mt. Mitchell on the Blue Ridge Park way the closest I’ll get to Canada any time soon. Dream hike – sections of the AT trail 🙂
I love the cover of this book. Even though I’ve never read your books this looks very good.
Got the AT on the bucket list as well. Maybe we’ll meet on it! 😉
Love the use of the photographs! Looked up High Risk on Amazon, sounds really good!
Beautiful photographs. Thanks for the giveaway.
the pictures are good, but the book looks GREAT!
I like you . 😀
I’ve been camping in the Sierra Nevada mountains in California. Seeing those pictures brought back many good memories. Looks like you all had a great time.
We always have a good time!! 😉
Loved this visual smörgåsbord =) awesome pic´s. Can´t wait for my chance to read High Risk!
Thanks for the giveaway & Happy Monday!

Thanks!!
I can’t wait for this book 🙂
The pictures are beautiful. They remind me of my fabulous Oregon! I’ve spent a lot of time camping around my state and your pictures look so much like where I’ve been. I’ve been to Canada 2 times so far but never camping. Once with my family and were just explored around Vancouver BC and once on a sailboat adventure with my husband and his Dad around Victoria. That was SO PRETTY.
Hope your book release does well!
Thanks, Glittergirl.
You should check out this site where I posted pictures from the Queen Charlotte Islands–farther up the coast from Victoria: http://www.thebookbinge.com/2013/03/guest-author-giveaway-vivian-arend.html
I had a whole set of pics if you link off my website to the tour spots. 😉
That lake looks so inviting especially on this unusually hot day!
Thanks for the wonderful pictures. Great to view while sitting at my desk :). The book sounds great. I’m looking forward to reading it and those that will follow.
I have not read any books by Vivian before. Looking at her site I feel I have some more of her books I need to add to my list. Have a great day all.
Very serene and beautiful. Thanks so much for sharing! 🙂

Love to go camping but we don’t really rough it any more. Just love getting out in nature, taking walks, bike riding, enjoying the quiet. Thanks for the contest. lisagk(at)yahoo
I like the great outdoors, but then I love to sleep & eat in comfort. Small doses I guess.

Thanks for the giveaway!
We are currently looking for vacation ideas…but since I haven’t made it out of Texas in too many years to count I think we will have to wait a while before heading that far north. Even if it is absolutely stunning!
This is the first time I say nope to the pictures. I have tried the canoe thing and it just isn’t for me. Nope and no way. but the pictures are sure nice!
Jen, you made me laugh. My kids grew up in canoes–I have pictures of them standing in the canoe wrestling!
😀
This post is a bit different, I loved seeing the pics. I have to say the cover for High Risk is awesome. I can’t wait to read this one!
