“THE COUPLE is a perfect naughty nooner. It was short but to the point, and left me wanting more.” ~Under the Covers
I was very excited to read Harlie Williams’ debut novel. I had originally heard this was “spicy but not erotic”. So I wasn’t expecting the story to center around sex. But it did!! *Naughty grin* No problem with that here. THE COUPLE is a perfect naughty nooner. Maybe combined with a bit of a 1 Night Stand without the Madame. It was short but to the point, and left me wanting more.
First of all, the author must’ve read my mind because I have a weakness for men with black hair and green eyes. And maybe this is not what she had in mind when she wrote it, but this was MY sexy cowboy while reading this.
Ok, ok I’ll stop drooling now and write a review. Even though I thought maybe a woman that picks up a guy at a bar might not be smart to go to his house and get tied to his bed…the fantasy of it still worked.
The writing flowed easily and the whole story had a southern comfort feeling that I liked. For a short story like this, we always talk about connections. Obviously this story is about chemistry and attraction. But my favorite part is when things come together at the end with the little twist. Must write down on my list of things to try. 😉

I get easily distracted by pictures of sexy guys and have tons of book boyfriends.I keep all my alpha males chained to my basement and guard them fiercely.*Back off bitches*I like to see Jason Momoa as a lot of those boyfriends, because ….. mmmmmmm JASON.MOMOA!
I’m a part time graphic designer (yes, everything you see on UTC has been done by me), run my husband's business from home and on a good day I’m a self appointed superwoman (she who can do it all).I love blogging with my girls and I couldn’t do it any other way!My first love is everything paranormal, but in the past few years I’ve re-learned to love contemporary romance.Every once in a while I like to mix things up with a historical romance, a steampunk or an LGBT book.Because I need variety to avoid book slumps.I don’t always need an HEA although I prefer one, and I love authors that can rip my heart out and make me ugly cry.
