Mindspill: Christmas Shopping with UTC!

With Christmas fast approaching and you rushing to get all the gifts bought and wrapped, we thought we would make Christmas shopping a little easier on you by giving you some helpful suggestions for that avid reader in your family!

You can click on the pictures below to read further details on each product or browse around for other items similar to it!

Book Lights

Angela and Francesca live by this product. The Lightwedge is a book light which is perfect for those you like to read way into the night. It’s a page-size acrylic lens that sits on your page and doesn’t disturb nearby neighbors. This one here is in paperback size, but other sizes are available to suit your reading needs. It’s affordable and will definitely light up your loved one’s world!

Audio book CDs

Audiobook CDs are great as stocking stuffers since they’re small and compact and are a load of fun! Here are some of UTC’s audiobook favorites:

Francesca’s recs:

– Kate Daniels  by Ilona Andrews (UF)
– Wallflowers and Hathaways by Lisa Kleypas (Historical Romance)
– Blacktop Cowboys by Lorelei James (Erotica)

Annie’s recs:

– Charley Davidson by Darynda Jones (UF)
– Fever series by Karen Marie Moning (especially book 4-5 and ICED) (UF)
– In Death by J.D. Robb (Romantic Suspense)

Angela’s recs:

– Shadow’s Claim by Kresley Cole (PNR)
– Lords of Deliverance series by Larissa Ione (PNR)

 Ereaders

Every reader needs an ereader so that they have have all their books at their fingertips! The Kindle Paperwhite is available with a variety of features to choose from. You can find the one that best suits your needs.

There’s also the Kindle Fire available! I’m getting all googly eyed just staring at this one!

Decal Skins

And if they already have an ereader, you can always help them personalize their ereaders like we do at UTC with decal skins! These are just pretty adhesive stickers that you apply to the front and back of your readers for extra protection! All of us at UTC love these things!

Ereader Cases/Sleeves

To further personalize your ereader, you can accessorize with awesome covers or sleeves. This one is perfect for those who read from their Ipads. It’s a Tory Burch tablet sleeve, available in many different designs and colors. There are also several other designers as well.

Boxed Sets

I’m a personal fan of these because hey, there’s a bunch of books already in order and if you know me and the way Angela, Francesca and Suzanne love to hound me for reading series out of order, then you know how well these series boxed sets work for me!

Here are some links to other suggestions:

Sookie Stackhouse 8-copy Boxed Set (True Blood)
Game of Thrones – Book 1- 4
The Hunger Games Trilogy Boxed Set
Divergent Series Box Set
J.R.R. Tolkien 4-Book Boxed Set
Well, we hope we made gifting a little bit easier for you with these ideas! Just remember that any gift is amazing if it comes from the heart (or involves books!) So have fun and we hope you enjoy your holidays! From all of us at UTC, we wish you and your families a safe and happy holiday season!
