I really wanted to read the rest of the series before reading this one.  Not sure if there’s any tie-in or not, however this book works absolutely great as a standalone! As the series name implies, this book is all about a sexy game of Twister at a party and how things heated up from there.

Lachlan is the king of his own empire.  He is a media mogul and businessman.  And he does not date models.  When his sister throws him a party he finds himself face to face with the model that covered his walls as a teenager.  Kole.  We’ve all been there, the infatuation and crush.  Now he has the opportunity to act on it.

But Kole is no longer Kole.  She left that life behind, retired and became a low key photographer.  She is now simply Cameron.  She has been through a lot and is a bit damaged but she knows she wants Lachlan.

They both have issues to overcome and I liked that they didn’t let those issues drag them down.  They are both vulnerable and strong when needed.  And yes, very sexy!  There’s even some sex at the high school football field at night 😉

For a short story, this gives us all the insight we need into the characters, has some drama, plenty of sexy and a happy ending.  What more can we ask?  Oh yeah, and the  hint for the next book, a least I can only hope, with Lachlan’s sister Lillian.  Can’t wait for more party games!

About Lexxie Couper

Lexxie’s not a deviant. She just has a deviant’s imagination and a desire to entertain readers with her words. Add the two together and you get darkly erotic romances with a twist of horror, sci-fi and the paranormal.

When she’s not submerged in the worlds she creates, Lexxie’s life revolves around her family, a husband who thinks she’s insane, a indoor cat who likes to stalk shadows, two yabbies hell-bent on destroying their tank and her daughters, who both utterly captured her heart and changed her life forever.

Having no idea how old she really is, Lexxie decided to go with 27 and has been that age for quite some time now. It's the best of both worlds - old enough to act mature, young enough to be silly.

And silly she can be. Just ask her husband who frequently has to endure her bursting into song whenever the mood strikes her, feeling him up in public (one of her favorite pastimes), or rolling around in the sand with their dog - a large mutt of dubious origins who causes almost as much havoc around the neighborhood as Lexxie herself. Or squealing her way down the slide at the local park with her daughter!

Lexxie lives by two simple rules - measure your success not by how much money you have, but by how often you laugh, and always try everything at least once. As a consequence, she's laughed her way through many an eyebrow raising adventure

I’m a 30 something sun lover living in the Big Apple (read New York).I’m a book and coffee addict and lover of all things elephants.

I get easily distracted by pictures of sexy guys and have tons of book boyfriends.I keep all my alpha males chained to my basement and guard them fiercely.*Back off bitches*I like to see Jason Momoa as a lot of those boyfriends, because ….. mmmmmmm JASON.MOMOA!

I’m a part time graphic designer (yes, everything you see on UTC has been done by me), run my husband's business from home and on a good day I’m a self appointed superwoman (she who can do it all).I love blogging with my girls and I couldn’t do it any other way!My first love is everything paranormal, but in the past few years I’ve re-learned to love contemporary romance.Every once in a while I like to mix things up with a historical romance, a steampunk or an LGBT book.Because I need variety to avoid book slumps.I don’t always need an HEA although I prefer one, and I love authors that can rip my heart out and make me ugly cry.
