All Shannon wants Tristan, her boss of 5 years, to do is break the rules. He has a strict ‘No Office Romance’ rule, but Shannon has been in love with Tristan since her interview and after a mix up with their laptops she finally finds evidence of Tristan’s lust for her and she is determined to act out his and her own fantasies…
I went into this book expecting it to be a few scenes stitched together of shagging bent over an office desk, but I am soo pleased I was wrong! Don’t get me wrong there was a very hot sex scene over the desk but there was also a little bit more.
Apart from how hot the sex was in this book, which it was, Shannon was a very naughty girl, and like all naughty girls she needed a spanking, it was also incredibly funny, I was halfway between belly laughs and hornyness throughout most the book, yeah that did look as odd as it sounds, and I was glad for it.
I also really liked Tristan, apart from being unknowingly hilarious, he was also grumpy, adorable and very imaginative and I liked that Shannon went all out to get what she wanted, they were a great couple.
I haven’t read anything by Sabrina York before, but I will definitely be trying out some more of her books.

Annnnnd I will stop myself there, before I start waxing lyrical about my love of historical romance and fantasy as well; no one needs to know about my elf fantasies. As you can tell, I adore and day dream about most romance genres, and my three big loves are 1) reading about romance 2) writing about romance and 3) talking about romance with my gals. Which, is why I love Under the Covers so much, I get all my bookish needs satisfied and don’t get judged when I talk about my favourite characters like they are real people. Which they are right?
