I have to admit something… I couldn’t put this book down.  Even when I had to put it down while trying to hang out with the family, I would sneak in the room just to read a few more paragraphs!  Craziness!  It was such a delicious read.

Brad is the college jock, the frat boy, who is just now starting to deal with the his feelings towards men.  He’s always been attracted to men and hidden it, but now he has finally admitted to himself that he is gay.  And he just happens to be attracted towards guy that are a bit shorter than him, leaner than him, maybe even a bit smarter than him.  So it’s no surprise that he has a crush on Sebastian, the TA in his history class.

Sebastian thinks Brad is hot, I mean you’d have to be blind not to notice him, but he is obviously not gay so no use wasting time daydreaming there.  Until Brad finally gets the guts to tell Sebastian he wants him.  And here comes my favorite part of this story.  You would think big muscular jock should top the skinnier, leaner, shorter, geeky TA.  Nope!  It’s the other way around.  Actually Sebastian can be even a bit of a Dom and likes to be in control, and Brad is more than happy to let him do what he pleases.

Their relationship was incredible sweet.  Sebastian dealing with not wanting a relationship and never having loved anyone.  Brad dealing with his own acceptance of being gay and coming out to his family and friends, and the fact that he’s head over heels in love with Sebastian.

The humor in this book was great as well.  I wasn’t expecting it to be funny but I found myself laughing quite a bit.  And then other times was just too hot to process any kind of thought. Now only one thing I want to ask for.  That we get a story about Collin and about Toby.  And I’ll be looking for more of Anne Tenino’s books, that’s for sure!

About Anne Tenino

Raised on a steady media diet of Monty Python, classical music and the visual arts, Anne Tenino rocked the mental health world when she was the first patient diagnosed with Compulsive Romantic Disorder. Since that day, with her trusty psychiatrist by her side, Anne has taken on conquering the M/M world through therapeutic writing. Finding out who those guys having sex in her head are and what to do with them has been extremely liberating.

Anne's husband finds it liberating as well, although in a somewhat different way. He has accepted her need for "research", and looks forward to the benefits said research affords him. He thinks it's kind of cool she manages to write, as well. Her two daughters are mildly confused by Anne's need to twist Ken dolls into odd positions. They were raised to be open-minded children, however, and other than occasionally stealing Ken1's strap-on, they let Mom do her thing without interference.

Anne’s thing is writing gay romance and erotica.

Wondering what Anne does in her spare time? Mostly she lies on the couch, eats bonbons and shirks housework.

I’m a 30 something sun lover living in the Big Apple (read New York).I’m a book and coffee addict and lover of all things elephants.

I get easily distracted by pictures of sexy guys and have tons of book boyfriends.I keep all my alpha males chained to my basement and guard them fiercely.*Back off bitches*I like to see Jason Momoa as a lot of those boyfriends, because ….. mmmmmmm JASON.MOMOA!

I’m a part time graphic designer (yes, everything you see on UTC has been done by me), run my husband's business from home and on a good day I’m a self appointed superwoman (she who can do it all).I love blogging with my girls and I couldn’t do it any other way!My first love is everything paranormal, but in the past few years I’ve re-learned to love contemporary romance.Every once in a while I like to mix things up with a historical romance, a steampunk or an LGBT book.Because I need variety to avoid book slumps.I don’t always need an HEA although I prefer one, and I love authors that can rip my heart out and make me ugly cry.

I LOVED this read! I laughed so hard and it felt so genuine that I couldn’t help but connect with the characters. And the supporting cast was perfect! Really want to see them get their own stories. Anne’s work is addicting 😉

I’ve gotten to where I really enjoy these ‘learning that I’m gay’ story lines and I love the idea that its humorous and not so angsty.

Thanks for sharing your review!

Glad you liked it Kassandra, I can’t wait to read more from this author as well. Yes, addicting!

Sophia Rose, I’m liking those story lines as well lately. Not to say there isn’t any angst in this book because it does deal with tough subjects but I was glad to see the humor as well.

Timitra, hope you get to read it soon!
