Released: February 4, 2012 Series:Dream Man #3 Pages: 355
Mara Hanover has been in love with her neighbour Mitch Lawson for the last four years, he is not only hot but also nice as well, making him a a Ten point Five, way out of her league as only a Two point Five (on a good day) but she has decided to love him from a far. But, one broken tape; a barbeque chicken pizza; two failed dates and a trip to pick up her baby cousins after their dad has passed out drunk and stoned later he doesn’t seem to realize she is a Two point Five and seems like he is sticking around.
Despite this being very similar to the Wild Man, I really liked it! Again the heroine is super perfect and the hero is super manly (and perfect) but, I couldn’t help but like them, they were so sickeningly sweet together!
My Top Three things/events in the book:
– The Beginning. when Mara doesn’t have a clue that Mitch fancies the pants of her. So hilarious when he is fixing her sink and she is all shy, this book starts of fantastically!
– Billie & Billy. They were adorable! Billie was dang cute (then again who isn’t cute in these books!). But it was Billy/Bud who got to me the most, his efforts to protect his younger sister even though he is only 9, his desperation to keep Mitch and Mara around, it was both sad and touching.
– Cosmos & Hawk. When Mara gets trashed on cocktails, then meets Hawk and decides he is the second love of her life and wants him to carry her. HILARIOUS.
I am definitely getting addicted to Ms Ashley’s books they are over the top, funny, sweet and I can’t seem to get enough of them!

About Kristen Ashley
Kristen Ashley was born in Gary, Indiana, USA. She nearly killed her mother and herself making it into the world, seeing as she had the umbilical cord wrapped around her neck (already attempting to accessorise and she hadn't taken her first breath!).
Kristen grew up in Brownsburg, Indiana but has lived in Denver, Colorado and the West Country of England. Thus she has been blessed to have friends and family around the globe. Her posse is loopy (to say the least) but loopy is good when you want to write.
Kristen was raised in a house with a large and multi-generational family. They lived on a very small farm in a small town in the heartland and existed amongst the strains of Glenn Miller, The Everly Brothers, REO Speedwagon and Whitesnake (and the wardrobes that matched).
Needless to say, growing up in a house full of music, clothes and love was a good way to grow up.
And as she keeps growing up, it keeps getting better.
Gosh, we all seem to be admitting our ages…and I hate that I am at the point in life when admitting my age is a “thing”…whodda thunk it? I was kind of hoping I would remain 21 forever. However, I have moved out of that New Adult stage of my life and am now strictly in the Contemporary Romance age zone of 28. I would prefer to be in an Urban Fantasy arena, but I don’t think I own enough black leather. However, I could probably squeeze into some PNR, I am fully prepared to give a horn job to my favourite demon, or suck on my sexy vamps…fangs and I am definitely up for some heavy petting with some fine looking shifters. Than again their’s always Sci Fi…I am fully prepared to do the right thing and help some poor alien race with more 6 packs than a supermarket repopulate their planet. Not that I am loose woman or anything.
Annnnnd I will stop myself there, before I start waxing lyrical about my love of historical romance and fantasy as well; no one needs to know about my elf fantasies. As you can tell, I adore and day dream about most romance genres, and my three big loves are 1) reading about romance 2) writing about romance and 3) talking about romance with my gals. Which, is why I love Under the Covers so much, I get all my bookish needs satisfied and don’t get judged when I talk about my favourite characters like they are real people. Which they are right?
