“Ms. Kennedy did it again…Definitely another book that I did not want to put down, whatsoever. ” ~ Under the Covers
Ms. Kennedy did it again! I rate this book 5 feathers 🙂 Definitely another book that I did not want to put down, whatsoever.
The love story is between Mary and Elliott. From the beginning of the book, you can definitely feel the chemistry between the two. They both are well experienced in the BDSM world and are much older than the other couples. Their story is a true example of “Hope. Submission. Love.”
In the previous books from this series, they mention Charles, Mary’s husband who passed away from his illness. This book will give you more of an understanding of Mary’s actions towards Elliott. She’s definitely been loyal to Charles even after his death. Meeting Elliott has been one of the best things that happened in her life. I cried, I laughed, and I cried some more. He helped her get through one of the hardest times of her life.
Elliott is a go-getter. He’s older and knows what he wants. He may not be the type to chase after a woman, but when fate seems to bring both and Mary together, it took time to realize that they both can go have a second chance of falling in love and that it was okay to move forward with their relationship.
The way I felt about this book was as if it would be the last book of the series. Why? Because it just seemed so different compared to the others, more of a mature relationship. Mary and Elliott are in their fifties and they’re definitely experienced with BDSM. There wasn’t much play going on, but that didn’t catch my attention as much. It was the way how Elliott showed Mary hope to love again. Once she realized she loved him, she fully submitted to him. Again, their story is a prime example of “Hope. Submission. Love”.
